Great walking trainers, I could wear them for a long trek straight out of the box, no chafing, dry feet, comfortable and good grip. Well worth the money.

A present for my partner, she is absolutely delighted with these, light, extremely comfortable, waterproof, breathable, extremely good grip, easily cleaned by hand even when caked in thick mud, worth the money!!

I initially bought and tried the normal (not GORETEX) versions of this one and they were honestly like walking on clouds. I have multiple chronic health conditions and it was the first time I wasn't in excruciating pain in my legs and feet from standing and running around all day. They literally gave me a bounce. Great for boxing too.Only problem is they weren't waterproof so I thought I'd get these GORE-TEX ones. However, that made them considerably stiffer and quite uncomfortable for me. They probably would suit other people but the difference in feel between the two is quite noticeable for me especially the foot insole feeling and the way the shoe supports me. I've worn them on and off for about 2 weeks more or less and they just don't give the same comfort as the normal Alpha 5's. Not sure if I would be able to get a refund so I'm stuck with it. Would be interesting to get someone else's experience with these specific GORE-TEX ones.I needed them for work so unfortunately waterproof footwear is mandatory. Not sure if it still needs to be broken in seeing as the other ones (without GORE-TEX) were amazing from day one. Love both the blue colour and this ninja black one. It's a shame with these you came see the glue marks around the sole/fabric seam which I don't like at all.Size 5.5 fits me very well and it's great these come in half sizes. I did do some mild trekking/hiking/climbing with them and they're rugged. The sole gives good support so you won't slip because it latches onto wherever you're stepping with its groves.I would recommend but not sure about the GORE-TEX ones. The GORE-TEX does work and they are waterproof but solely on comfort I've said not these ones.

I was bought these for a Christmas present to prevent wet (and then freezing) feet whilst running.Pros: good grip and comfortable.Worked on mud and grass. Great as a trainer for trail running. Lightweight and nice looking.Cons: definitely not waterproofWorked really well for about 2 weeks and then started getting damp feet.Now having used for 3 months, they just look at the dew and I have wet, freezing feet.Gave 2 stars as I needed them to be waterproof and they simply aren't.

Had these a few months and although comfy they are not waterproof. Just been through a wet field and my feet are wet through. Disappointing as i bought them as they were meant to be waterproof.

The footpaths on the hills near my home get very muddy, especially in the winter months, but even now during the spring. Constant exposure to wet mud that dries, then wet mud again that dries again etc.. destroys the fabric on the top of the shoe, particularly where the solid plastic meets the canvas. I used to fear no puddle, nor bog, nor long wet grass in these trainers, but now I hesitate at the slightest damp looking patch of ground. I still use them though as they are very comfortable, and the grip is fantastic. Bitterly disappointed at the longevity of the waterproof, though.

Bought these for a trip to Scotland. Not an avid hiker/backpacker so didn't want too aggressive of shoe because I wanted to use them also on the cobbled streets for more stability, and walks at home, etc. Tried out a lot of options and these were the best choice. Look nice, and performed great on hikes and scrambling over wet rocks - no slipping! Ended up walking through a shallow stream and my feet stayed dry. Comfortable walking all day right out of the box. I did notice these fit a bit wider than other Solomons I tried (they were too narrow). They are also easy to slide in/out of without unlacing as long as they aren't laced too tight. This was great because I hate tying shoes!

Ich war sehr skeptisch Schuhe über das Internet zu bestellen, allerdings war es leider nicht möglich in ein Geschäft zu gehen das hier in der Nähe ist. Also habe ich doch online bestellt und ich wurde mehr als positiv überrascht. Dieser Schuh übertrifft alle Erwartungen. So was bequemes hatte ich noch nie am Fuß und ich habe sehr viele Schuhe 🤓. Ich trage Größe 38 und habe diesen Schuh auch in 38 bestellt. Er passt perfekt. Wasserdicht ist er auch zu 100%. Ich wollte einen wasserdichten Schuh, der eine Mischung aus Wanderschuh und Turnschuh ist und er sollte bequem sein. Tja was soll ich sagen? Für mich der absolut perfekte Schuh !!!

Me encanta la marca desde hace mucho tiempo. Este modelo es cómodo, la suela perfecta para no resbalar y son bonitos. Todo genial.

Molto comode, belle esteticamente, soletta avvolgente e ammortizzata, non eccessivamente grandi, in super promozione a 89€. Purtroppo numero sbagliato, ed è finita la promozione, peccato. Ho il 39 e di solito acquisto il 40 per le scarpe sportive, ma ci navigo. Non posso testimoniare sulla tenuta al bagnato.
