Vidal Sassoon Pro Series Keratin Hair Brush, Paddle.35 Ounce

This is my second brush. I bought another one this year because Vidal Sassoon says to give the brush a year to see results and I've had the first one for two years now. My hair has grown about 3 inches over the past year, not including trimming every 4-6 weeks, and has become more manageable versus course and crispy. I am hoping to gain another 3 inches by this time next year because my hair is now healthier and continued used should speed growth.By the way, I am 48 years old now and my hair length extends to the middle of my back. I am talking about natural hair not relaxed or Keratin treated hair (with the exception of using this brush). At 16 yrs old my hair was 4-5 inches past my shoulders with a relaxer, but now it's mid-back natural. That's saying a lot considering that my hair was never this long and has recovered from breakage and a course-dry condition from a number of relaxers over the years where the beauticians over processed my hair.I must admit that I am also using ProFolla Silk Growth Shampoo and Conditional I purchase at healthyhairplus.com. The shampoo and conditioner are formulated specifically for African American hair growth and I believe it works because I also starting using these products at the same time I bought this brush. I brush my hair only when it is not wet and after having combed through it with a wide toothed comb, no tangles. I also brush Mizani H2O Intense Night-time Treatment into my hair every night and Mizani Supreme Oil every morning. I only shampoo my hair every 2-3 weeks, mostly 3 weeks when I've avoided sweating or otherwise getting my hair wet. I also use only a flat iron on my hair now, instead of a hot comb. I sleep on silk pillows and sleep in a silk cap if I've just had a black rinse put in and when my pillow cases are in the laundry. Take care of your hair and try the ProFolla Silk Growth Shampoo. Works well as any paddle brush goes. Nice looking and good price. Stands up to the heat of my (super high heat) blow dryer a bit better than other rubber tip paddle brushes, but after a while some of the bristles bent and became misshapen due to the heat of my blow dryer. Still, at least it didn't literally melt like similar brushes I have tried in the past. Overall it's holding up reasonably eel considering. I ended up buying one for my mom and sister because I liked it so much.

Used with a 2000 Watt Hair Dryer and it has held up. Would high recommend.
