Wonderful Green Tangerine πVitamin C & E Face Serum πππβ€οΈπππ©·π«πβ€οΈππ©·ππβ€οΈπππ€ͺπ©·π
I like this green tangerine π Vitamin C dark spot face serum. This serum was not tested on animals (I really like that). It comes in a 1 fluid ounce, brown, glass bottle with a dropper-style top. The serum scent is aloe, (but in my opinion) it smells more like a citrus scent (very light and dissipates quickly). Some of the serumβs ingredients are π« olive oil, turmeric, aloe vera, π lemon peel extract, Vitamins C & E, and tangerine π extract. It easy to apply to the face and absorbs quickly. The serum, itself, is clear/transparent and has a little bit of viscosity to it. I just started using it, so Iβm not sure if itβs effective for dark spots yet. But, I like everything else about this green tangerine π face serum and will continue to use it. β πβ€οΈπππ«π©·β πππβ€οΈβ π€ͺπ©·ππ«πβ€οΈβ πππ©·πβ

Has good ingredients but subpar format requires quick use of product; refrigeration recommended
This is a decent serum to try for those who want to add vitamin C to their skincare regimen. Vitamin C is a star and helps with collagen production and reduces skin discoloration. It has a very light citrus scent, likely from the tangerine extract & lemon peel extract, that dissipates very quickly. It left my skin feeling smoother and more hydrated, and it seemed to absorb quickly. It takes time to see noticeable results from vitamin C, but it is protective of skin in the meantime. The ingredients as listed are very good, but the ingredient list is really incomplete. Instead of listing vitamin C, the manufacturer should list the specific type. Is it L-Ascorbic Acid, Ascorbic Acid Polypeptide, Ascorbyl Glucoside, etc? Vitamin E could be tocopherol or tocopheryl acetate. My bottle has been opened just a month, and I'm starting to get the notorious bologna water smell more than the light citrus scent. Since I was under the impression that smell was from ferulic acid degrading in vitamin C products, I wondered what was in this that could cause it (because there is no denying that smell to my nose). It turns out that citrus is a source of ferulic acid. Ideally, products like this should be in an airless pump container, or at least a pump to limit contact with air; clearly the brown bottle isn't enough. The dropper type of bottle means that lots of air is introduced. My product is just starting to get this odor, and the color is still very light, so I can probably use it up before it loses all effectiveness. For someone purchasing this, I would recommend being somewhat be generous in application to use it up more quickly, plus store it in the refrigerator to slow down the degradation of the vitamin C.Ingredients: Water, Citrus tangerina (Tangerine) extract, Vitamin C+E, butylene glycol, niacinamide, glycerol, salicylic acid, allantion, sodium hyaluronate, olive oil, lemon peel extract, turmeric extract, Centella asiatica extract, Aloe veraNote about my reviews: I am a skin care addict and actually try every item I review as part of the Vine program (some don't open even open the product so they can resell it).

Still unsure about effectiveness
3.5 Stars β I like the ingredient list in Nigrifix Dark Spot Serum. It has a water-like consistency, very lightweight and non-greasy. Easy to wear underneath moisturizer, and an additional lotion is a must since the serum doesn't provide much moisture at all. Right out of the bottle it smells citrusy but that fades quickly. It makes my skin look and feel a bit smoother after applying, but overall I don't like it as much as other serums. As for its long-term effects on dark spots and fine lines, time will tell. Not a fan of the plastic bottle.

I broke out
I tried to use this product but I noticed I was having more breakouts while using it so I had to discontinue use. I cannot give an accurate description or if it works or not, because it did not work for me. Everyone's skin is different though, so if you think it might work for you go for it. But I would say do a test first, don't Dive Right into using it unless you don't mind the risks.

Better than lemon extract? Sign me up!
I have used lemon serums int he past to lessen my dark spots with success. I saw this Nigrifix serum is based on green tangerines which is more potent than lemons. I received a 2 pack in this delivery and immediately put the green tangerine based serum to work on my dark spots. I placed a good amount of dosage onto my skin and lightly caressed it into my skin. There is no discernible scent noted. I did not have any immediate reaction to the serum. The serum is absorbed into the skin very quickly. Only time will tell if this is just as good as lemon extracts. I am on the positive outlook as green tangerines are in the citrus family, so it should work just as well. If I see it not working, I will report back with updates. So far. I am thrilled of the more potent prospects. 5 Stars!

Good for hydration. It needs to be used quickly and stored properly.
I like the consistency of the NIGRIFIX GREEN TANGERINE VITA C DARK SPOT SERUM and the way it is absorbed by my skin. Although I feel that my skin is more hydrated after using it, I never saw any evidence of dark spots fading, even though I used it faithfully. My biggest disappointment is that the shelf on this isnβt particularly long, and even though I stored it in a cool, dark place, it went bad before I used the whole bottle. I've read that this is fairly common in serums containing vitamin C. Apparently, they don't have as stable a shelf life as those with other ingredients. I would recommend that you use this within six months of opening the bottle. I do think it's a reasonably priced serum, and I thought it worked well for hydration while doing very little in the way of fading dark spots.

Watery
This Nigrifix Green Tangerine Vita C Dark Spot Serum is watery. It has a mild scent. I like that it has a dispenser cap on top of the bottle so it won't get a mess when putting the dropper back into the bottle. However, my bottle is not full. It's in an amber plastic dropper bottle. It feels refreshing though and time will tell if it would help with dark spots and improve my skin.
