Better arm sling
So much better than the Hosp issued one. Does not ride on your neck.

Comfortable sling
I wish the ball was a little less stiff so it would be easier to squeeze, but overall I’m really enjoying this sling. It’s been very comfortable to sleep in after my shoulder surgery. Would definitely recommend this to friends and family and am looking forward to using it throughout the rest of my recovery process! The Velcro is also incredibly strong which did lead to one part ripping, but I don’t think it’s messed with the longevity at all and everything is still functional.

A saving grace for your injury
For those who suffered severe Grades II & III clavicle fracture and shoulder injury, this is your saving grace for easing up your pains as well as your neck strain from the cheaper version of slings. Do yourself a favor and purchase this over the other ones. Here are the reasons, based on my own recent personal injuries and our other family members' past injuries. Adjustability: Most people wearing slings don't understand the necessities to have proper adjustability. The main adjustability we need to look for to ease up the burden of the impact areas is the shoulder strap, specifically, the neck strap. If you cannot have a wide range of adjustability to reduce the amount of weight pressure the injured side placing on the impact site, you're engaging the muscle groups that supposedly required to be isolated to allow the injured site to heal properly. When you have a Grade III clavical fracture, this is quite relevant. Comfort: This speaks for itself. Cheap slings dig into your neck. Even padded slings provided by the clinics and hospitals still dig into your neck. For higher quality Figure-8 sling type with the pad but only have one strap, you're placing so much stress on the neck and opposite shoulder that you need want to throw away sling within 4 hours of wearing. This sling actually generated 4 zone of pressure reduction. I'm astounded on the evolution of design to reach this point. First is the neck strain relief. The second is the should strain relief. Third is the reduction of pressure with the two added pads for adduction positioning. The last is the isolation provided by the 3-point harness from the designs. 3 days of cheap slings wearing and I couldn't even breath properly, with constant pains around my neck and shoulder. With this, I was able to achieve plenty of relief for my breathing and the injured site instantly. Just one thing to be mindful about. The mesh material is breathable. When I say breathable, it's means for the areas of your body touching the mesh. However, you will get a rash at the fold of your arm. There's hardly any airflow going into this zone. You will sweat and you will have a rash. Do yourself a favor and get a high wicking arm/elbow sleeve to prevent rash, or just a light wrap around the fold using a flexible bandage.

So comfortable
I had rotator cuff surgery and the sling they gave me was a joke. It was something you could walk into Walgreens and probably buy for $5, plus I was given a large when I’m only 5’ tall and have short arms to match. I spent more time trying to keep my arm in the sling than anything else. It also had the standard neck strap design that chokes you. Dr office wasn’t concerned about the size or anything. I decided to find a 3-point type sling to take some of the pressure off my neck, and ended up with this because it also comes in multiple sizes. The medium is just right, and although I’m heavyset and busty it fits around me fine with room to spare. I don’t use either the pillows (and corresponding strap around the waist) or the stick/ball piece, so I can’t speak for that aspect. The straps are a thick soft/padded design, and each can be adjusted to have more or less tension around the neck vs under the arm. It is NOT breathable, and I use a mesh sling when outside in the yard. Inside the house I don’t get hot with it tho. I haven’t tried washing it. Even without using the pillows it was well worth the money for me.

Not What I Hoped
Picky, rough material. The chest strap is not comfortable if you are a woman with even a medium bust. The neck strap was also picky in addition to the sling. The foam ball as well is rock hard, impossible to squeeze. Not a stress foam, but like hard Styrofoam. The concept is great though to relieve neck stress. I also didn't like it came in a drawstring bag, not a sealed bag. Kind of unsanitary for a heavy shoulder surgery. Also had a crumbled copy of a person's picture (looked like a license photo copy) and name on a tiny piece of paper in it with a qr code by the picture which was odd and somewhat unhygienic.

Valuable for Medical Necessity
While this was a necessary purchase, I expected it to be a bit more user friendly. It does serve it's purpose and is generally comparable to other durable medical equipment on the market. This is a good product for the price point.

Comfortable and many adjustments to fit just right.
Sling is fantastic! Currently on my 2nd rotator cuff repair surgery and one of the things I was dreading was wearing that uncomfortable sling for weeks. Decided not to use the one given by the hospital this time and take a chance on this one. No regrets, first week down and no uncomfortable strap digging into my neck. The ball feature is a nice addition also. 100% recommend.
