Covered litter box
I bought this mainly to keep our dog from getting into the litter box. The cats took a couple of days to get used to it, but they have figured it out. It is easy to remove the top (although the lock pieces were a bit wonky at first - not fitting properly, but that did not affect the use), easy to clean, the extra steps help keep the litter in check. It is sturdy enough to handle 5 cats even though we have 5 litter boxer, they all use all of them. I would highly recommend this product for construction, easy of use, durability and style.

Very nice
Bought this for my dorm room because it's covered and compact. It's a little small, but it works for my cat and I didn't want a larger one because of the limited space. I can fit this thing on a shelf! The little stair piece is kind of pointless but easily removed, definitely buy actual litter mats as well because the little plastic mat they send with this does nothing. Great litterbox though! My only complaint is that, unlike most covered litterboxes, this litterbox doesn't come with a flap to keep the smell in. Maybe because it's too small?

My munchkin cat loves it
Super sturdy and keeps the smell in! I have a munchkin cat and she has a little legs, so I was scared she wasn’t gonna be able to get in but the little step works perfect for her. It comes with the door, but we didn’t install it because she still too little, but will add on later.!

door hinge ruins the litter box
The measurements of the box are big enough for my cat however the door is too small only because the hinge that the door swings on is too low. My cat won’t go through the door because he has to crouch to get inside due to the hinge being halfway down the door, despite the opening itself being plenty wide enough. The door is also very difficult to put on and take off because it’s all hard plastic and you have to bend the box really hard to get it to go in. Wish this measurement was included somehow so I wouldn’t have to waste my money on this. It’s also very hard to clean because the seam of bottom with the lid is not tight so pee gets stuck there and you have to wipe it off carefully otherwise the room will smell.

Decent, but flawed, litter box for small cats
As other reviewers have mentioned, this is a small cat box, only suitable for a single smaller cat. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone with a cat larger than 10 pounds, honestly. It's fairly sturdy, and it does a good job of keeping litter from getting tracked out; however, the flaws are enough so that I wouldn't order this litter box again.First, the bottom pan spreads out when you fill it with standard cat litter, making clipping on the lid a real headache. Add in a liner, and it becomes pretty much impossible to get the lid to do anything but just rest on top. I suppose if you're using ultralight litter, the pan won't spread as much, but it seems like this box was not designed with liners in mind.Second, the large hole in the top might seem like an asset, so that your cat can hop in and out, but in reality, it's a flaw. If your cat doesn't use the opening, all it does is let the cat box smell out. The first time one of our cats used it, it smelled like our old box after a week. It got so bad we put a tea towel over the hole just to filter out the odor. This box will need constant maintenance in order to minimize the smell. The added litter scoop is nice, though you can get a similar one for a couple of dollars at a big box store. The mat is just a small piece of thin, smooth plastic to put in front of the box ; it doesn't have any grooves or any rough spots to get the litter out of a cat's paws. We didn't even bother to put it down. All said, this was a very poor value for what we paid. I would only recommend this IF you only have one small cat, IF you're using ultralight litter, and IF you can scoop it out every time your cat uses it. Even then, I feel like you could find something similar for less at your local big box or pet store.

Good for a small-medium sided cat
My cat is only about 4 months old. He has plenty of room to maneuver inside of this box. I would recommend the smaller side for small-medium sized cats. Larger cats or homes with multiple cats should opt for the larger box. It is sturdy and helps reduce the smell inside of the home.

Honestly, a good purchase
I love this little litter box. The box itself is very pleasing to the eye, but it's also nice and functional too. I bought it originally to replace a goofy looking one I had before. My 2 cats never had a problem using one litter box in the past, but since we moved into a new apartment I figured it would be good to have 2. Everyone saying that this one is pretty small would be correct, but it's not bad by any means. I bought it purposely for my smaller cat (around 5-7 pounds), but even my bigger cat (10-12 pounds) uses it. And as you can see, they have a pretty big one next to it. I don't know if my cats are just weird, but they both like the smaller one and use it often. I think it's a good box, and the upper opening gives them room to move around even if they're bigger.

Small
I thought this was slightly bigger but it’s very small. Cats still used it and we will use it as a back up but had to go back to the old one. Doesn’t keep litter in well (if the door is off then it’s an absolute mess) and if the steps are slightly off then the door doesn’t open/ cat can’t get in/out. Love the idea of this but eh.
