Worked like a charm!
Had to replace my left slide, and I ended up replacing both, and my Switch works perfectly again! It wasnโt even too difficult to install (even if it was terrifying to do lol)

Well equipped, no thermal paste
Super great kit that came with all the replacement parts ribbon and screws. One thing to note is that it is worth buying a thermal paste if you are to re-attach the ribbon cable. Since getting to that spot means you have to replace the old stuff. Joycons now connect to my switch with ease and they are held quite well
