I have very little experience with dehumidifiers. I saw the many great reviews on this machine and had to add my ownWe live in coastal South Texas. Our humidity gets very high most of the time. We do not have a humidity control device in our central air unitThe humidity can get high, 75% or higher. We really can't open the windows because it's still humid and it'll just provide temporary relief. I had purchased a different small dehumidifier about 10 years ago. It didn't work at all, never saw a single drop of water in the machine, so I never bought another one.Quick Tip, I highly recommend everyone have a temp/humidity thermometer. That way you can get an understanding of how your house works with the levels of humidity. I wish I did this many years agoOur house is small, about 1,200 Sq ft. We have tiny bedrooms. This dehumidifier works well for any room, big or small. It works for that one room, and maybe a little bit beyond. It was hard to tell how further it worked outside of room it was in.I was quite surprised how quickly this machine was collecting the humidity out of the air. In one room it went from 75% down to 65 in a matter of hours. I'd say within 6 hours that humid smell was goneVery important health note: with a safe assumption, I knew lowering our humidity would make our sinuses better. I was NOT surprised to find out that I was right! Because our humidity was so high, we'd get stuffy noses and subsequentl coughs and for myself, sinus infections. This dehumidifier was delivered just in time as we started to get sick from 99% humidity with stale air outside. And wow!! Our suffering was shortened by a LOT. We didn't climax with sickness, it just tapered awayThis dehumidifier is the easiest to use! It's very plain, very simple. It has 3 buttons that you don't push in, they're touch sensitive. You have Off and on, Color change and when you choose the Night Time feature, it'll slow down the machine and turn off the LED light. The sound isn't loud at all uweb it's running at full. If you like white noise, this will add a layer of non annoying sound. The LED light is not bright, Not using the night time feature and leaving the light On, won't bother you.Again with the Ease of Use there's only way to take out the water tank. And there's only one way to take off and on the lid. There's a little lip on one side of lid and the tank, yuu line those up. Then the tank can only fit one way, it's the indebted part that you'll unsee hand grip the tank.And that's it! I assumed threw would be some level of complexity, nope!One thing I did notice about this machine. I'm not sure if the dehumidifier won't pull moisture from the air if the humidity level is around 57% The device is pulling the moisture out but I think there's a % where it just can't keep pulling. However, that doesn't bother me, just an observation. You may want a more powerful machine if you need it lower. We don't need it lower and I don't think that's a good thing to have. 55% is perfect for us.When our humidity was crazy, I noticed that the machine was trying to fight with the absurd amount of humidity coming in. This thing is pretty powerful for such a lightweight thing! It kept up cut kept pulling moisture, I am Very happy I made the purchase and I am more than impressed with this little guy's ability!If any you made it this far of my review, get this dehumidifier!

We use this in our great room and the meter has shown the humidity went from the high 50's to mid 40's percentile in thatnroom. We definitely feel a bit cooler and our 15 year old AC, on its last legs, is able to be turned on less. Worth it for us!

Good deal. I was amazed how well it works. Compact, stylish unit.

If you want a real dehumidifier don’t buy this. If you just want to take a bit of moisture out of the air, get a damp rid (or similar product from a different brand).If you want to remove a lot of moisture you’d be better off getting a real heat pump dehumidifier (I saw one for less than $150 on HomeDepot site). This thing uses a solid state technology that is very inefficient and does a mediocre job. I get more drying effect by turning on my A/C (which is similar to real heat pump dehumidifier) than with this toy.

Like the features, great for our RV.

This is a great small dehumidifier. I purchased it for a large closet. It took four days to get going. Now I’m emptying it every four days. I do unplug it for 10 minutes every couple days. Very pleased

Was expecting a greater level of water extraction than this unit pulls out of the air. I guess for how small and compact it's adequate but not remotely close to my other unit which is large. Pros would be compact, modern design, quieter than other unit and does not put out heat. Also easier to dump a small container than a large one with several gallons of water.

The water out of your house. It just sits, plugged in, not super quiet but I can hear the tv over it without having to crank the volume. It removes the moisture from your room, it is not meant for a whole floor of your house.

Worth for money

I use it in the room in the basement where my Sump Pump is, it is small but quiet and I fill it up every 3 days, No complaints

The produce is very poor. It will not even dehumidify very small rooms.

I really don't like it but it will work for small spaces
