Just received these, and I have to say they are the best combs I have used. My hair is fine, but I have lots of it. I always sweep up one side of my hair. Don’t ask me why I’ve always done it. I like the way it looks, and these stayed in place, never slid at all. Don’t hesitate if you’d like a good comb that does the job; these fit the bill.

These are not at all brittle, not one has broken, and I have thick hair. I even tried several in the set to see if the sturdiness of the first pair was a fluke... not a difference. The size is a big improvement compared to the standard... not small, but not too big. There are so many in the pack that I never have to hunt around for a spare. Eliminates the annoyance when you forget to go to that aisle in the supermarket!! I don't need more, but wanted to buy another pack just because they are such a great change from the name brands, like goody. No more spending too much money, only to be frustrated when they break. Highly recommend!!!

I love these sturdy combs, they work well for holding my hair in a french roll or bun. I did not rate a 5 because of the tendency of the teeth to break off. i'm not sure what makes them brittle. I'm on my second package but this problem persists.

I liked these hair combs a lot! The combs are sturdy, they grip well and I like the color. I like wearing combs because they suit my hair better than barrettes or headbands. Many times combs will slowly lose their grasp and slide out. These combs stay the course! I recommend if you like to wear combs and if you have never tried them, you should!

My hair is very thick and long. It also has body. These slides have worked pretty well/ They would be improved with longer teeth. They fall out fairly easily from my thick hair. the decorative detail is very good and much hardier than I expected.

These are some of the best combs I have found for my thick hair. They are strong and wide enough to hold my hair in place. A good find!

Happy with purchase. Decent product that is holding up well with no breaking of the teeth. Fits well and holds my very thin fine hair with no problems. Stays put without falling out unlike the cheaper walmart ones I have been using for years which break easily and fall out often. I would definitely buy this again when I need to replace.

Cheap and thin Plastic. They brake teeth on every use until unusable. In the 80’s and 90’s you could find and buy combs, clips, and decent bobby pins. Now everything is cheap chinese junk made to break on first use.
