Wanted a small Watercolor Sketchbook that had decent watercolor paper in it. These little sketchbooks are the perfect size to carry in your pocket or your traveling paint kit. The paper is a good weight and has a nice tooth to it. Colors do not bleed through to the back page. I like that the binding is sewn as opposed to glued. Will order more of these when I fill these up.

Colors do not bleed through the pages. My granddaughter & I loved painting in our respective journals together! We both enjoyed the small size of the journals-very portable. And, you have enough room to paint nice pictures. Very nice!

I am using this product for Plein Air painting. The paper is small enough to fit in the lid of my palette with tiny magnets, so I can paint and use the palette as my easel. On right. Due to the small size, I can hold everything in one hand and paint with the other. I can paint almost anywhere now. The size is perfect and the quality of the paper is fantastic. It has a great texture and stands up very well to watercolor paint. I am very happy with this purchase.

I wanted a small watercolor sketchbook that I could use for thumbnails and daily sketches. I am not selling or framing these sketches, so I wasn't looking for 100% cotton paper. I have been disappointed in the past by sketchbooks costing much more than this one that could not handle basic watercolor techniques. So far, I have been pleased with these. I can use masking fluid and tape without a problem, and they hold up when I use a fairly wet wash.Keep in mind, these are really small sketchbooks; but with 62 pages, I can get two months of daily sketches in each.

Bought these for my niece, along with neon pens. She loved how the black paper made the neon colors pop!

I like black to use oil pastels, some gel pens and certain watercolors. The size is good for small projects.

Like most artists, I live the "hand-to-mouth" existence (at least for now) so I cannot afford to make a lot of mistakes when comes to purchasing art materials. They are not exactly cheap. I purchased this mini watercolor pad, and I am totally delighted. They have a nice solid, sturdiness, with just the right amount of graininess. I put one sheet to the test with my watercolor brush pens, and they absorb the color beautifully, richly. If you apply too much water (to dilute your watercolors), the paper will pucker a bit, but after drying out, you're "good to go." I very much recommend them, and I plan to purchase them again.

I like the texture of this paper. It is firm enough for colored pencils, gel pens, and paint markers.
