Works same as lego but much more reasonable

I bought this for my 8 year old grandson who loves Legos and Transformers. Since I did not find any Lego transformers I tried this brand of building blocks. I would’ve given this product five stars if the directions would have been legible. The directions had absolutely no written descriptions, they were 100% pictorial… The problem being the pictures were so small I had to dig up an old magnifying glass to give my grandson just so he could see how the pieces went together.Please be aware that this product consists of several small block builds… and by combining all of the pieces from the smaller individual builds one larger transformer can be built. This product is very detailed and much more complicated then many of the Lego kits I have purchased for my grandson in the past. Not that that was a bad thing… it actually occupied my grandson for days rather than just ours. I just want to share that it’s for more mature kids and that you may want to pick something different if buying for a younger child.

Broke in about 2 hours

He loved it, it was exciting for him until he opened it and tried to assemble it. He was overwhelmed and frustrated, his Dad had to do it

I thought it would be bigger

Can’t honestly answer as I bought several of these for Toys for Tots and another local toy drive for children. They looked to be a great educational toy. Would purchase again.
