This is a great kit to either start tattooing or to upgrade and supplement your practice supplies. The extra batteries ensure you have the juice to run larger pieces. Having adjustable stroke length for a kit at this price range is a huge plus. The small form factor makes intricate drawing a bit easier.

This kit includes everything needed to start tattooing skin right away. Including a superior black ink thats ready for skin and not just practicing. 2 long lasting batteries. Enough for any big job without having to take a break. The machine itself lays down ink like a dream and is super quiet. I will always be the biggest fan of this brand and all of its products.

This machine isn’t great for line work. It’s a decent machine for beginners to practice shading. But I would not use this as my go to for all work!

I have several tattoo pens, and this one is my favorite. It's easy to handle. The battery is more sleek than others, so doesn't feel as top-heavy while using it. Comes with everything needed to tattoo!

Dragonhawk Tattoo Kit This is the smallest and lightest machine I have tried to date; smallest both in length and diameter! It is very comfortable to hold and work with. It has a very natural, almost marker-like feel when held in the hand. The machine also features a very easy to use needle depth gauge so you can set the needle depth from 2-3.3mm with no guess work or attempts to measure needed. I feel these features help to make this tattoo pen machine one of the best choices for those artists who are considering transitioning into tattoo from more traditional art forms. For power this machine comes with two batteries so you will likely be able to work wirelessly on any job from start to finish! This kit also includes an RCA cable so it can be plugged into a power supply (NOT INCLUDED) if needed or preferred. - Personally I find the control that a foot pedal provides much more convenient then stopping to hit the pause button on a battery, but there are definitely times when working cordless has it's advantages, so it is nice to have both option open. Performance wise I have no complaints this machine performed admirably. I am not certain why; but at higher voltages the pen did seem more labored with the battery than it did with the power supply even though both were set to exact same voltage. I have a Mast Tour Fly which is one of my preferred machines. It is nearly the same diameter , but is considerably longer, so this machine its actually more comfortable to use,...but it is louder and does vibrate more than the other. 4 stars because the battery pack did not work. Must’ve been faulty. But the pen itself is amazing. I paired it with my mast pro battery and her was great.
