The GoPro Hero 12 Black is an amazing camera which comes with tons of features including the 5.3K video quality which can record up to 60fps and 4k at 120 fps which is truly amazing. If you want to take pictures with the camera it comes with a 27MP camera lens that is still sharp and detailed but in my opinion, I recommend taking pictures with it. The hyper smooth 6.0 is also truly amazing you could be doing any type of physical activity e.g. skiing or biking down a mountain or through rough terrain or just holding the camera in your hand it will stay butter smooth. The battery life has improved since the Go Pro 11. GoPro had always had critiques regarding it's battery life. The Hero 12 offers a significant update to the Hero 11 offering up to 70% longer battery life. In my opinion, it’s a game-changer. It's very easy to use with its already pre-configured presets that come with the camera which you could just “point and shoot” for basic user. You also have an option for pro controls for creators who would like to have full control over their camera settings. Are there any drawback. In my opinion the Go GoPro Hero 12 its nearly perfect. The price is very premium which might deter casual users. The GoPro has improved low-lighting performance but it is still not as strong as DSLRs cameras of mirrorless models in very dark conditions. In conclusion, if you are into capturing epic moments of your family vacations or in general, the Go GoPro Hero 12 Black is the best option for you and you won’t regret it. I would say it's not a camera it’s a ticket to creating great memories :)

This bundle was value for money, quality built. Easy to use during snoorkeling trip, battery life was enough.

Bought this bundle when it was on offer, so saved a reasonable amount compared to buying separately - package contained camera, hand grip, 2x batteries, helmet attachment and case. The action cam provides a good variety of configuration options, footage is excellent and stable. Now that these latest models are waterproof and have built-in mounting ‘fingers’ means that you don’t have to add to the bulk with cases/mounts. I find the hand grip extremely useful and comfortable, I can keep the camera dangling from my wrist when not in use so it doesn’t always need holding. The Quik app is useful for accessing footage using your phone/tablet, although I haven’t done any editing. A great bit of kit.

Lovely piece of kit, constantly use and durable. App makes it easier, only wish that there was better accessories in the bundle. Make sure that you buy a MicroSD card, as you can't use it without it.

The Volta Handle and Camera Media Mod have proven to be a total waste of money. The Volta handle is incredibly unreliable. (Yes I have updated the Firmware as soon as I unboxed it). It freezes, randomly refuses to to respond to what you press and then needs resetting. The battery life isn't that impressive either, given the size and weight of this thing. The Hero 12 does 2hrs on its own and 4.5hrs with the Volta handle, recording in 1080HD only. So it gives you an extra 2.5hrs... A big pain point is that you cannot charge the volta while its in-use. So once it goes flat, you have to unplug it to recharge it. And if you connect the Volta to the camera via Bluetooth, you then cannot use the GoPro remote. the Media mod makes it impossible to get to the memory card and battery too, so you have to dissassemble it all just to take the card out to download footage. The USB-C on the Hero 12 is painfully slow. It takes several hours (4Hrs to be exact) to download 5hrs+ worth of footage over USB-C to USB-C But if you remove the card and plug that into a MicroSD card reader, the entire days footage is downloaded in under 30 minutes. I've tested this on so many computers, different card readers too, same result every time. Low light performance on the Hero 12 is also painfully dissaponting too. The ONLY way to get low light footage is to shoot in LOG, then edit it all in post. Shockingly bad. I truly wish I hadn't bought this camera at all, and it will certainly be the last time I ever by a GoPro.

Having only received this yesterday I haven't had time to try out all of the features. The best thing about it is the compact size. I thought this would be a hindrance but its great for placing inside my dog walking satchel. After one day I already wish I'd gone for the previous model and save a few hundred quid because this has no zoom feature and so i will need to buy another camera. What an expensive mistake. I was out with the dog today and filming him sitting near me and tried to zoom in to see the stag and female deer out in front of us but you cant do that. My phone camera can but the image becomes blocky and shakey so I thought I'd finally spend some money and get a decent bit of kit for my wildlife and scenery type videos and as I have a border collie that likes to bomb about I thought gopro would be an all rounder. Seems not. Gopro people can only film things right in front of them. I wanted to pan to my dog and then to the deer in the distance which seems quite simple. You can zoom in when you edit but not a clear picture. I sometimes go on the river with my collie either paddle boarding, canoeing or swimming so a go pro would be handy for that but we also like to paddle slowly and watch the wildlife. Without a zoom I will only be able to take videos of what my eyes can see. I was swayed to buy this one because of the review that said it was simple set up for a beginner. We've not found it great. I took some footage and looked at it in the app and the quality was poor. I saw a comment that said its poor until you download it. So i downloaded it and then it was laggy. Laggy on both my samsung galaxy s10e and my samsung tablet. No use trying it on the laptop. So id need new equipment again for this and a separate camera that i can zoom in with.

Hands down my favorite product I have ever ordered from Amazon. And I am so grateful I got the package with all the accessories. The batteries are high quality and lasts a long time. The GoPro is versitile. I use it for skiing, traveling states, mounting on vehicles, use it on airplanes. water, desert, home, etc. I love bringing it everywhere I go, since it's pretty lightweight and packable. The night shots are really good, and if youre fantastic at post editing, this is going to be a great purchase for you. You can edit so many settings for whatever you want. Whether it's HyperLapse or star videos or great selfies or rad videos, this GoPro is a perfect camera. I have had zero issues with it and it's my favorite product. Heavy duty, secure, high quality, backed by a great company.
