Lanxivi Set of 3 Jinhao X159 and 9019 Fountain Pen Replacement Nib Parts (EF, F and M) Gold Trim

Original Pen - Jihao DADAO #9019 - came with a fine nib which was really much finer than western nibs. I purchased the medium nib hoping that those would be good and the nib did not disappoint. It was very easy to switch out the Fine for the Medium and now, the pen is very smooth and writes how I would have expected a Western Fine point. Great pen for the money.

Jinhao pens are good quality for the cost, but there is a chance that the nib will require slight adjustments. I had issues with all three EF nibs, but I used a brass shim to slightly adjust the flow (use at your discretion) and I’m so much happier with them now. I swapped the nibs on each of my Jinhao 100’s.

These are excellent nibs for the Jinhao x159 and 9019 fountain pens. I love both those models and have several of each, but some of the fine nibs that came with my pens were somewhat dry writers. I ordered these medium nobs, replaced one of the dry writing fine nibs, and voila! The pen turned into a nice wet writer. I'd suggest you get at least one set of these nibs to have on hand if you add several of the x159 or 9019 pens to your collection.
