This don’t fit for my cayenne !!!
It won’t seal the fuel tank properly.My garage smells gasoline from 300 feet awayI guess is not safe alsoOn my effort trying to close it correct , the top part came off the whole structure .This is a waste of money and time !Do not buy .

tip to install the tether
Product exactly like the original gas cap. Only minor tricky part was inserting the expanding tether fastener. I first tried to force fit the fastener, but figured out that the pin portion of the fastener has to be "pulled out" before the fastener can easily get inserted into the small hole. After the fastener is inserted, then the pin must be forced down via friction fit. WD oil makes it easier. No instructions come with the gas cap, so you have to use common sense.

This is a oem knockoff made in china. Meant to look like the real thing but it is not. And when you buy a Porsche you buy german engineering.
