There's no sucrose, so expect a slightly different sweetness profile.
These are almost too tasty and tempting. I'm a type II diabetic, so any sweet thing I eat has to be non-nutritive. The bulk sweetener in these is Erythritol, which it utterly non-nutritive. It's also has far less of the laxative effect of other sugar alcohols, next to none.Another sweetener in this product is Stevia extract. Unfortunately, I have the genetic marker that causes me to taste Stevia as more bitter that the stuff they put in hand sanitizer so alcoholics won't drink it. Thankfully, they only use Stevie _extract,_ not leaves, because the bitter component is mostly in the leaves. It's slightly bitter, but the bitterness is more reminiscent of semi-sweet chocolate, so that was okay. The caramel is there; I've had to pick it out of my teeth. There isn't a lot of it, only a glaze on the popcorn kernel. Don't expect there to be a gooey caramel layer, though.Every year, one of my granddaughters sends us a big metal canister of variously flavored popcorn -- butter, cheddar cheese, and caramel. The popcorn is perfectly shaped, a spherical puffy cloud. I think this is a variety of popcorn that pops into a large, white ball. I suspect they have a popper that constantly moves, a whole row of kernels on a conveyor. A heated roller with spherical indentations scoops up each kernel, then it mates with another roller with the other side of the sphere. The heart makes the kernel pop, and the normal puff is slightly larger than the spherical ball of tender white cloud goodness, and the whole row of popped kernels probably go through two enrobement curtains, one of caramel, and one of chocolate. They're then cooled, sorted, inferior pieces are discarded, and the good pieces get bagged. (I've never seen this process, but I've seen similar machines, and it's not hard to extrapolate.)I do think the price per bag is a tad high. Maybe when we're at a better economic status that doesn't have as much inflation, the price can be lowered somewhat without making the Board members panic and jump out of windows. I certainly hope no one does that, btw. These connections are, speaking as a diabetic, are a godsend. They satisfy sweet cravings without sending your blood sugar through the roof. All in all, for me it's an ideal treat.

Stevia heavy aftertaste
Chocolate flavor heavy. Popcorn adds crunch and texture but you can’t taste it. Sometimes you catch the Carmel and sometimes you get a hint of salt. While eating you don’t taste Stevia. The aftertaste is 100% stevia that lingers a long time. I find myself looking for something else to eat to get rid of the stevia taste.

Sounded yummy but not.
I have tried many of the Lily "No Sugar Added" candy and it is quite good. Saw the chocolate caramel popcornand thought sounds yummy. It is not. There is no caramel favor and the popcorn has a soggy feel wheneating.

i like it to expensive for what you get 10 balls for 5.00 dollars thats 1 dollar for every 2 balls
I love it but too expensive for what you get each bag should cost 3.00 dollarsI AM in love with this I spent 300.00 dollars in the last 2 months that is how much I love it but it's going to stop because I counted 10 balls in one package that's 5.00 dollars for 10 pieces of popcorn chocolate balls that's 1 dollar for 2 small balls of popcorn that is ridiculous big time

Puffy chocolate coated popcorn balls
The popcorn in these is puffy, but dense at the same time. It's like full sized popcorn but it's a little smushed inside to have the chocolate and caramel coating. The chocolate is thick, very thick actually but still easy to bite into and then it's puffy, like 2 sensations in 1 bite. Also I taste a lot of salt in the caramel, it's very noticeable which I like but yeah it's strong!

Yummy... Easy to eat.
It's sweet and light. The chocolate is not too heavy and not too sweet, the popcorn inside is crisp and gives a crunch, as does the chocolate shell. Even though it tastes good, I haven't been able to finish the whole thing in one go.
