12V Power Supply, 12 Volt 3A 36W DC Power Supply with On Off Switch, White Switching LED Power Adapter, AC 110V to 12V Wall Wart Transformer Plug for LED Strip Lights with 5.5/2.1 DC Female Connector

For a test I loaded up three 500 milliamp incandescent bulbs put them on this power supply. The rig looks a little messy in the picture. It measured (as expected) 1.48 amps. I let it run for an hour then tested the voltage. It was 11.92 so that's pretty good. The Transformer itself was warm to the touch but it didn't feel like it was overheating or hazardous in any way. Certainly not as hot as the incandescent bulbs that I used for the load test, they would burn you. That's half of its rated capacity and I feel pretty comfortable that it would be good to run up to two amps or so without excessive heating for long periods of time. A pretty nice little transformer for a reasonable price.
