Good stuffs from Movie Maniacs
I like the completeness of the destruction of T-1000 comes in two forms, with holes in the head and the near-upper body split in the final battle. However, the coloration was too dark & annoy the resemblance of the T-1000 in the movie.Good for those who want to collect Terminator & good tandem with T-800 from NECA.

My first favorite action figure in the NECA & McFarlane line.
I love this action figure! When I first got it, I was ecstatic. This is by far my favorite form of the T-1000. I like him in mostly his Robert Patrick/human form, but with a few injuries sustained which is what this figure represents. Even though in the movies he looks awesome in every way, shape, and form, action figure wise, this is the best action figure that shows him mostly looking human with a few liquid metal damage. I am very impressed with this one. I also love how he has a human hand, two metal hooks, a gun, and the long knife. However, I really do not like the knife that this figure has, nor do I like the way it looks in general and on him. So I tossed the knife. I had no use for it. I am definitely going to keep everything else of this figure along with all of my other figures and accessories that come with them. This figure seriously in my opinion ONLY looks good and will always only look good with either both the liquid metal hooks attached to his arms or with one hook on his left arm and his fully human looking right hand that can either hold his pistol or not. Those are the only two ways I like him. I also like the fact that they bothered to have the the upper half of him blown in half as shown in the climactic battle at the end of the film before he was terminated in the molting steel. I felt the McFarlane did an excellent job with the details of this figure. In my opinion, aside from the full liquid metal T-1000 figure by NECA (which I will talk about in a separate review), it's better than all the other human looking T-1000 figures later released by NECA. I really do think so. This is a must buy figure and a forever keeper.

I need this toy like I need a hole in the head... DOH!
When it comes to almost uncanny character likeness, a great paint finish, and bizarre accessories, the movie-related action figures put out by McFarlane Toys are among the elite (if not THE elite) of the 'realistic' toy collectibles market! The T-1000 Movie Maniac figure is a pretty good showcase of McF's greatest attributes in the realm of collectible toys. Although this toy's likeness to T-1000 (and present X-Files headliner) actor Robert Patrick isn't uncannily similar, it's about as close as one can get. The paint job features some great highlights and detail, although the chrome metal parts didn't have quite as shiny a finish as I'd prefer. Included: a couple of spike/hook-arms you can interchange with the forearms of the chrome shotgun-hit-studded 'donut-head' torso. Also included is an interchangeable 'pretzel man' (his form right before falling into the molten steel) torso. There are a few downsides to this collectible. The figure's constructed more for show (either boxed or *GASP!* loose) than it is for play, and thus isn't too durable. And there's not a whole lot goin' on articulation-wise, so if you're planning on poppin' him loose for display, don't expect too much poseability. If you can hack these little drawbacks, you'll have yourself a super-geekin' display piece to show off in your collectibles cabinet!Post Script: As for this toy's Educational Value... maybe if you're planning on using this as a visual aid at your community college's film class, this might have a little bit. Otherwise, it's just an object lesson on humans' ability to mold plastics into just about any form they desire, just 'cuz they can. Class dismissed!'Late

Another incredible sculpt from Mcfarlane Toys
James Cameron was one of the men who ushered in the digital revolution of cinema, when he took his concept of a cyborg more advanced than the previous Terminator. This is the future, the T-1000, a cyborg composed of liquid metal that can assume form and identities of numerous people. The figure comes with two upper torsos that can be interchanged. One torso includes Robert Patrick with 3 liquid metal holes in his chest, and one through his right eye. The second torso is from a later encounter in the film where the T-1000 is blown apart, his arms askew, and his head hanging lopsidedly. There are also several interchangable arms, a normal right arm that can hold a gun, a knife-like left arm, and two extra "hook" arms. While detail is great here, there is really not much that you can do with the T-1000 but display him. Still, he's one of the best sculpts coming off the latest Movie Maniacs line.
