Best invention ever!
Works amazing, using it for my 84 year old mother in law who likes to get out of bed around 3-4 in the morning, now we know when she gets up and can be right there to help her go to the bathroom and direct her back to bed after

Great product
This product is amazing. We purchased this because we are taking care of a family member with dementia and night time wandering. The sensor pad allows us to be aware of when she is getting out of bed at night.

This is Very Helpful
This works very well and I love that it has two levels of sound and the alert device is portable. We put it under the thin mattress pad and sheet. I think it works as well as the ones hospitals use.

Do it. It’s so worth you getting the rest you need
Do it Pay the money instead of losing your mind. This alarm is good. It indicates when someone gets OOB but not too sensitive if someone is readjusting in bed. You can program how the alarm alerts you. It saved us with our dementia mother and allowed us to sleep close by knowing it would go off should she get OOB. The one thing that is a down side is it is thick crinkly plastic. It can be uncomfortable to sleep on per mom. It does stay in place for the most part when using the stay puts. We placed it under the mattress pad and under the 4x4 waterproof insulated / thick blanket which helped.

not very practical
This was not very helpful. It would bunch up and crackle when they moved in the bed, waking them up with the noise and discomfort. The alarm was loud enough to awaken us to the fact they had gotten up, but the discomfort they experienced meant they were getting up quite often during the night.

On the one hand, is perfect for what we needed, something to wake me up in one bedroom, when my elderly father with dementia wakes up in his room, so that I can get up and make sure that he just goes to the bathroom and back, rather than wandering about in the dark, and possibly having a wee in some other random place in the house, making the floor wet, and possibly then slipping on it. Three criticisms though… it comes with sticker pads to keep it in place, and they don’t stick, every morning I have to reposition it. I can’t put it under their mattress protector, which would help, as theirs zips round the whole mattress and there’s a plastic box that needs to hang down freely at the side of the bed… secondly, that same little plastic box has a bright little led light on it which is really evident at night. Really we want our elderly relatives to be blissfully unaware they’re laying on this alarm pad, not draw attention to it as some would then make a point of trying to remove it and thirdly, most frustrating .. the remote unit has three fairly flat identical buttons to adjust volume/ pair it/ and stop the current alarm..and in the dark there’s no way of quickly distinguishing which button you need to press to just quickly stop the loud alarm when it wakes you up, before it wakes everyone else up too. We haven’t told Dad the alarm is even there as he’d think he was being a nuisance if he knew that every time he gets up in the night ( hourly ) that he was waking me up too, or he’d hear the alarm going off every few secs while I’m fumbling to turn it off and he’d follow the sound and come in my room when we really need to get him to the bathroom asap. He must just think I too have an incredibly weak bladder as I magically appear beside him in the bathroom every hour. As for the button I’ve stuck a piece of Velcro so I can now stop the alarm as soon as I hear it but for £125 it’s a definite design fault. As others have said, the remote batteries are just AA and replaceable, ours are going strong after a month but once the main pad battery runs out you have to buy a whole new one at £125.. it’s a shame you can’t return the whole thing after the approx 12 months it is supposed to last, and buy its replacement at a discount but yes it works well, through closed doors, and as soon as I hear it sound I know any minute now Dad will come out of his room and go shuffling down the hall aimlessly trying to find the bathroom with me in hot pursuit.

Used this for mother in nursing home, works well.

The item arrived crumpled with a big crease where it had been folded, which I cannot remove. The stickers which are supposed to stop it from moving around the bed do not stick to the mattress so the item noisily moves around the bed or drops off it. This item is very poor and not fit for purpose. An expensive mistake buying this item, which I would urge others not to make. If it worked properly it would be a useful aid for the elderly and vulnerable, but sadly it is severally flawed.

Really good so far, easy to use, my client moves in her sleep but it hasn't triggered the alarm.
