Dericam Microphone for CCTV Camera, IP Camera, DVR, NVR, Camera Audio Pickup Device, Include 1 to 2 Power Splitter Cable (A1-White)

The Dericam S1 PTZ camera that I have hooked two of these microphones to is the issue and not the mic. I say that because I purchased another mic from a different manufacture and it worked great when first connected but within a short time I could hear the same garbled interference in the audio that I thought was from this Dericam mic being sold. With the new mic the interference was not as pronounced but it was distracting. The Dericam S1 PTZ camera is wireless so it would not appear that the interference is coming from another network cable - especially since there is no other network cable near the camera - just a tree.I also tried running the camera with a network connection and not WiFi - still static so the Dericam camera is junk. They should replace it or change the way they are made.I ran a separate RCA cable from the Mic and it works very well.Full disclosure for the crappy rating: below is part of my first review left for this mic. Apparently Amazon took out the name of the other mic that works better (that's fine). Upon posting the first review the group selling the mic on Amazon sent me an email offering me a $30 Amazon gift card to delete my review. Obviously I don't think that is right so my first review is below - the part Amazon left after removing the name of the other mic that works better but still not perfectly because the Dericam PTZ S1 camera is not the best. It's my 3rd camera from the manufacture due to camera issues.First Review:Either the Dericam camera or the mic has serious issues! I have bought two of these mic's so far with the same result. The audio is all garbled and really is not the audio from where the microphone is located. It's hard to describe but it's all garbled and none of the audio is discernible!

Fair design gets points off for NO slot for wires to pass through the flat base for external connection.Sound quality is passable, but I seriously doubt the lower frequency range is accurate.It is sensitive, and can produce significant wind noise on average days: it can hear water pouring into a bucket at 50 feet, and a cough from inside the house 20 feet away ... however, intelligible SPEECH is difficult.NOTE - Connect the White connector to the Yellow input (not red cam output)

I have had this mic hooked up for about five days. I can hear my garage door open, my shovel scraping the driveway shoveling snow and heard my voice telling the dog to come into the house. I counted to five about 10' from the mic and heard my voice clearly. It is hooked up to a Dericam S1-N 960P. I have recorded audio on SD card and on my private FTP site. So far this is the only mic I have found to work with the 960P.

I’ve been trying to get a microphone to fit my Dericam for around 2 years and tried many that never worked. They did tell me they we’re bringing one out but would never give a date. Now that I have it, it works very well. Simple plug &. Play no fiddling with camera settings and the sound pickup is very good as long as it’s sheltered from strong winds, like all outdoor mics wind noise does interfere with the pickup. But overall it’s a great micrfor the price.

Hooked it up with the camera now you can hear everything if a mouse gets on my boat I can hear it fart...

Works as intended. Package came missing the power cord.

Installed it an it has a very loud humming noise. Not very good recording quality or volume with the noise factor

It never worked. It was easy to install. But, when using it, the voices would be hear as static noise. I really threw it away. It was not even worth to pay shipping to return it.

Ich kaufte dieses Dericam Mikrofon für meine Dericam Außenkamera. Beschreibung und Hinweise sind nur englisch. Das Anschließen des Mikrofons war einfach, da die Kabel und Adapter mitgeliefert wurden. Das Ergebnis war nicht gut. Verzehrter Ton und hat ständig getackert. Ich wand mich über Amazon an die Firma. Diese hat schnell geantwortet und gab an, dass sie helfen wolle und ich bekomme Bescheid, wenn sie eine Lösung finden. Ich ging eigentlich davon aus, da die Kamera und das Mikro von der gleichen Firma kommt, dann auch kompatibel sind.Habe ein anderes Mikrofon gekauft und an meiner Dericam angeschlossen. Es rauscht etwas, aber ein guter Ton. Die Firma könnte bis jetzt auch nicht weiter helfen.

Ottimo acquisto.....funziona benissimo.....addirittura sento il mio gallo in campagna cantare a distanza di circa 500 metri.....mia moglie l'altro giorno si è collegata a distanza e sentiva pure la musica da dentro casa con la porta aperta.......in ambiente chiuso però si sente un fischio di fondo.....tornassi indietro lo riprenderei......

Microfono tutto sommato ben fatto e completo di addattatori e cavetteria , purtroppo se usato in situazioni con rumore di fondo (tipo strada) diventa inutilizzabile ancorchè amplifica tutto quanto senza distinzione.

Desde que lo instale, se escucha un "tac tac" continuo. He probrado a desconectarlo, limpiar las clavijas, aislarlo, y mil vueltas mas y el ruido no desaparece.

j'utilise 9 camera dericam pour certaines dépourvues de son. Donc j'ai acheter ce microphone pour pallier à ce défaut.Une installation sur une caméra exterieur m'a permis de capter le son autour de cette caméra.installation simple, bonne capacité a affronter la pluie , un son un peu caverneux et lourd pourrait assombrir le tableau ce microphone ( bien que les voix restent intelligibles )Bon rapport qualité prix , je recommande.
