My husband was very scathing about this. He is a carpenter and had nothing good to say about the quality of materials, the way it was constructed and was horrified that externally the screw holes are hidden by paper stickers. HOWEVER - if you put it together carefully - I think hubby may have glued as well as screwed - it's as good as similar items you can pay more for. It's about £14 .... it holds quite a few paperbacks. It is sturdy enough for what it does and I particularly wanted something compact to go in a small space. I am very pleased with it & would buy it again.

The dimensions made it ideal for a small space in study-bedroom. Very sturdy. Instructions unclear (wooden pegs fit in middle holes). Tip- initial side, then pegs first, then slip in shelves, then other side. Then screw in top side, carefully turn over and screw in remaining side. The back isn’t necessary, very robust without it. Very surprised with the quality, considering the price!

This unit is very cheaply made so I did not expect it to be wonderful. However one is f the wooden dowels broke in half and there were no spares and then the nails for the back are totally wrong and not for for purpose. They are too thick and the one I used first came through the top of the unit. I did not use anymore so I will have to get some proper tacs to do it. The white parts have sine scuffs and are not perfect. I would not recommend this unit as even though it's cheap it's so unpleasant to look at with the broken top part that I would have waited and spent more later on if I had realised

Bought two (to lie on their sides and stacked) to provide extra storage on my home office desk. Exactly what I needed and works a treat.The finish isn't brilliant (there are a few marks and scratches) but at this price I'm more than happy! Far cheaper than all the other desktop shelving I looked at, quick to assemble, and study enough to carry books.I didn't attach the backing as leant them against a wall.

Paint is a little thin on these but for the price they're an absolute bargain! Very easy to assemble, flatmate and I knocked them up in less than 15 mins for both. Use them as bookshelves in a room and they've held up just fine. Was worried that they might be wobbly but they're nice and sturdy and will be purchasing more for the house at a later date. Accurate to listing.

It's perfectly sized and looks the part however it's also easily marked or soiled by things. I used one for my toiletries next to my Wasing machine and one as a night stand.So books and small ornaments are ok. Coffee cups, liquid detergent /fabric softener and baby oil that may leak or leave residue--strong no.

The bookshelf was very easy to assemble, sturdy for what I wanted to put on it. Was value for money. The only negative side was that only one side of eavh shelf was white. The other side you can see the wood.
