Great little build, very sturdy once built... And Totally fun to build !
I got this because I've a dear friend who's daughter LOVES skulls and Halloween décor, she goes nuts at that time and I wanted to give her this next October. I put off building it awhile as I'd had some issues with the smaller "micro" Lego clone builds at times. This one was really a great build, and looks great on top of my computer (my SO artist loves it so it's remaining up as a "Christmas" decoration for now).It took me two easy days to put together, the build was very straightforward, though did involve very carefully following of the layer by layer directions, as there were no step by step parts lists (though there was an overall parts listing, which helped at times). One thing to watch carefully for is the reverse bevel bricks as they are sometimes easy to miss if you're quickly building it up. (missed it one time, but hadn't gone even to next step before I caught my error.)I didn't, but I'd recommend as the first step in building it to sort out the parts, there's only two colors so would be fairly easy. (I normally don't do this, but in this case where you use so many of one type or other at a time, it would make the build quicker in the long run.)The parts fit VERY well, and though it's fragile during some of the steps, once you get more layers for different parts it stays together VERY nicely; handling it is easy as it's quite sturdy once built. A couple of recommendations would be to make sure each layer is nice and tight, and a good set of tweezers is a BIG help. (Mine are shown in the first and second pictures). The manual doesn't show the LED bits put into the eyes, but it's very easy to figure out on the step you put in the slotted square clear red bricks for the eyes. (The switch brick is all pre-wired and has the LEDs ready to insert into the slots)The eyes flash and change colors, in various timings, there's no way that I saw to change such but it varies somewhat interestingly. It seems a very friendly "skull", perhaps maybe for some Shakespearean Hamlet décor.Overall very enjoyable build and plenty of extra parts if one goes wandering. I highly recommend this set for anyone that likes a more slightly bizarre decorum. The GOOD: Great fitting Micro bricks, 1/2 Lego sized Clear easy directions though you do need to follow carefully Overall parts list Very good looking completed model with flashing eyesThe IFFY: NO parts listing in each step, which would have made it slightly easier, but no biggie as so much one color and limited shapes No parts tool (which I found strange, but I used one I had)The BAD: No really BAD, but it IS a tight and somewhat exacting build, but no problem if you follow the directions carefully

1000+ small pieces make for a challenging puzzle!
I ordered the MACTANO Skull Head Building Blocks Set for my husband, who loves puzzles and Lego.I should start by saying that while in the pictures, this looks a bit like a Lego set, it is not. The pieces in this puzzle are very small, and there are 1992 pieces! This requires patience and good eyesight, and it’s not going to be for everyone. That being said, this is an excellent challenge for puzzlers looking for a true challenge. My husband has a bit of a penchant for the macabre, so the skull theme was perfect! To add to the creepy mood, the skull has colored eyes that light up when the skull is plugged in. The lights glow in red, blue, and green. The skull measures 4.8” x 5.9” x 4.2”. Imagine almost two thousand pieces in an object that size, and you may start to get an idea of what a challenge this piece is. All pieces are made of plastic.I think my very favorite thing about this puzzle is this enigmatic statement on the sales page. I believe this is a question or translation, that the intended meaning is that the puzzle has been inspected, but if there is a problem, contact the seller. But that isn’t what it says.“ The product has been strictly inspected when it leaves the factory, but if it sneaks away sometimes, or there are other problems, don't worry, please contact us and we will solve it for you as soon as possible.”Maybe I’m overly imaginative, but that has me imagining the skull sneaking away, as well as those mysterious “other problems”. Bravo, seller! Deliciously macabre. That’s the most intriguing thing I’ve ever seen on Amazon. It made me want to learn the secrets of this mysterious skull.Hopefully, this review will make you want to learn more about the mysterious skull, too.

Micro blocks, micro problems!
The MACTANO Skull Head Micro Mini Building Set is a fun build for those adult lovers of you know what brand. The instructions were pretty straight forward with no real stand out issues in the directions. The miniature size of the blocks adds a bit of a challenge to this one especially with the color of the build being a ton of white on white. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the pieces however as they fit together smoothly with little problem. If there is any one quirk with the product, it's that the pieces come in only a few bags unlike other products which breaks the build out into smaller bite sized pieces and bags for a more ideal build scenario.

great finished product, challenging assembly
I found the assembly a bit difficult at times, trying to follow the directions correctly. However, I enjoy the challenge, so I was glad it wasn't over too quickly. The final skull looks cool, and I enjoy the light up eyes. Overall a very fun piece. Would be great as a gift, or buy it for yourself and fill an afternoon with putting it together.

Pieces are very small
Pieces so small you would have to build it under a microscope.
