Dear customer, this carb is jetted 180 and 42. You could install it directly (pre-installed internal parts) with no or maybe small adjustment on the throttle cable hole. If you have more questions, please contact us by clicking our brand on product page.

Q: I ordered this carb and it does not have the primer on it like my existing carb does. i have a 1998 artic cat 500cc. why is that?

Dear customer, most of this carburetor's new version now on the market don't have the primer, and it has no influence on the use. Thank you for your question.

Q: my old carb has a brass nut/needle end for the choke. how does that convert to the new one? It looks like there is a slot in the new carb hook up?

Dear customer, this carb has a rubber port for the choke (pic. 2). If you want a brass one, please search B08B3HXRBN. And please notice the throttle cable hole of these carburetors is threaded. You may need to drill it bigger for a press-type throttle cable.
