Amazing for the price
Keyboard feels and sounds AMAZING. Looks are pretty good in my opinion other than the typeface on the keys which I personally really dont like. Quality feels pretty good, although not amazing, keyboard has flex but doesnt feel cheap. Software support is really bad if tha matters to you. Volume knob feels good. Battery seems to be pretty good. Layout is awesome if you want a shorter keyboard but want numberpad functionality. LEDs dont feel super bright which for me is a plus, because it feels less in your face. Got mine for $57 after promo before tax and I would really doubt you can find a better keyboard for the price or even $20 more. Would absolutley recommend.

Possibly the best keyboard.
There is no doubt this is the best keyboard ive used. And ive tried various key boards. This is a review from first day but the performance is extraordinary, its not loud and you can just swap those keys if need be. Ive seen some people say that they cant find the software but its literraly in the description and pretty easy to find it and then you just search for this model Ak966. The customization is there the only thing thats not their is the ability to have custom animation and i hope they add that to the software right now all lighting effects are pre made and the custom effect is static. Other than that its a solid keyboard.

Excellent budget 96%
Pros:Very decent tactile feel. Seemingly, these are AJAZZ branded Outemu brown pre-lubed switches, which are not the top of the line, but very satisfyingNo discernable pingingDecent thockinessPretty quiet for brown switchesStarry Night colorway is very nice with the yellow accent keycaps (personal preference)Easy connectivity (wired is obviously top notch and BT is rapid, haven't tried the 2.4GHz yet)Cons:RGB is very dim and leaves a lot to be desiredKeycaps are not shine-through so RGB is pretty pointlessThe FN will remain red when using in wired configuration regardless of any setting you try. I covered it with tape and will not use the RGBSoftware is very limitedKeycap legend is a bit weird for a lot of the keys so being a touch typist would be beneficialMeh:Plastic construction might be con to some, but it doesn't bother meOverall, I'm very happy with this keyboard to the point where I decided to purchase 2 (home and work). it is very satisfying to type on and I do not regret the purchase at all.

Great budget keyboard
This is a great keyboard to if you want to start exploring mechanical keyboards but you don't want to spend too much right out the gate. It's wireless, it has RGB, it has a ~knob~, and the 96% design is the best of both worlds for people who still need a numpad. The switches are decent. They're tactile browns, so not everyone's cup of tea, but the stock ones still sounded good to me without any mods. My main gripe with them is that I had a few pop out as I was trying to replace the keycaps, but it was easy enough to pop them back in. If you plan on changing them out for your own switches anyway, it's really no big deal. The keycaps that came with the keyboard were also very good. I changed mine out for some show-through keycaps from YMDK with a spacebar, escape, and numpad enter from the Autumn in Rivendell set from Drop. Getting shine-through keycaps really makes a difference - the RGB is pretty good with the included keycaps, but even better with these new keycaps! This was a great beginner board for someone wanting to dip their toe in the hobby without breaking the bank.

Still a great keyboard & photogenic after nearly a year, but the software isn't the best.
If I were only reviewing the physical keyboard by itself this product is great, and I especially like the multiple stored Bluetooth profiles which allows me to quickly switch the keyboard between my personal and business computers in a single keystroke while still having an included physical connection and 2.4G wireless. However, the software from NACODEX isn't the best or most useful software out there, and I haven't touched it since the first week of owning the keyboard.I use this keyboard every day, all day. I work in IT, do programming, and play the occasional game using this keyboard and I haven't run into any major issues, it is a really pleasant keyboard to type on.

Great for all keyboard use
I love this keyboard, it’s much quieter than my last one. The battery lasts a good long while. More specifically it helps me get through coding projects much more efficiently than my last keyboard.

Functionally Solid, Well built, Awful software
I was more than pleasantly surprised when I opened my keyboard and felt its weight - it is HEAVY.I was really pleased to find a keyboard in this layout, as I like short keyboards, but really value my number pad keys. I had a membrane keyboard in the same formfactor for about 3 years that I liked a lot, but it was getting old and I was looking for an upgrade. The volume wheel was another MUST HAVE as I had gotten used to one on my old board and wasn't about to go without one after learning how great it can be to have physical controls like that. That is the real reason why the board gets a 3 star rating, despite the praise I give it. The software is atrocious. Not only is it near impossible to find any sort of documentation on its use and installation, once downloaded it doesn't let you customize hardly anything. Outside of setting lighting effects for the backlight - which is only /alright/ - the scroll knob has a push down function that can't be mapped - its eternally set to mute. If I could set this scroll knob to "Play/Pause" this keyboard would earn at least one of its stars back.If the software was easy to work and easy to find/download and use? It's an easy 5 stars. The hardware deserves it. I hardly ever have used it, but even the Bluetooth function - which is notoriously bad on software-deficit devices - is pretty good.I would be unlikely to snap buy this product again - the experience definitely warrants more investigation of other keyboards - but if I found nothing that seems to be a tier above, I wouldn't feel too bad buying this again. Just slightly ticked off.
