URO Parts 2720100631 Crankcase Vent Valve

Swapped out today in about 30 minutes. Good fitment, seem as sturdy as the OEM part. Remember to inspect the sealing surface on your valve cover. My car has 150k miles and somebody had used high temp silicone sealant on the last replacement. I didn't check and surprise I had a oil leak. Had to pull PCV valve out again and thoroughly clean the sealing the surface. I recommend you get a dentist mirror or some other tiny mirror to inspect the sealing surface. If you are swapping out cam plugs as well I recommend you that there as well. You never know.

2010 MB GLK350. Passenger side smelled like burned oil and there was little smoke. Turns out this part leaked little oil onto the exhaust pipe directly below.Bought this on Amazon. Watched youtube videos. Took about 1hour primarily because my sockets were too long. You need 10mm etorx or 8mm open wrench (5/16 sae could also work). Before installing, i applied very small amount of silicone lube on the gasket and the center plastic.OEM was too expensive and I originally wanted Febi brand. But Amazon had this brand sold/shipped from Amazon overnight and I thought why not try (return if it leaks). It doesnt leak so I am very happy.

Been driving on it for 3 weeks and no leaks so far. Good quality seal.

Fits good even the hose goes on snug.

Easy install. Hardest part was loosening the torx screw. Just took extra time and patience. But that’s German engineering for ya

I had an oil leak around the crank case vent/oil separator deal on my 2010 E350 4Matic. Replaced the OEM one with this and no longer have an oil leak. My car had 80k miles on it and had been leaking for a while. It's a pain to get to 1 of the bolts in particular. Go to a pawn shop and buy an old wrench, then head to harbor freight and get a deep well T10 socket. Cut about 1CM off the end of the deep well and weld it to the end of the wrench. Makes it a ton easier to get in that tiny space between the firewall and the oil separator and the extra depth keeps the wrench from slipping off as easily.

Perfect replacement. Hard to remove and install new one, but once you done there is no more smoke smell in the cabin.
