I bought this machine for clean up of my garden waste, like branches, stalks, etc. it worked good. But after some heavy use, I noticed that it would not chop the branches as fast as it used to, it is the blades that need to be sharpened. Can the manufacturer provide some instruction of how to sharpen the blades?

My last shredder from a different brand lasted 7 years before it broke down and the blades were still sharp. The blades on this shredder were eaten up in the first 4 hours of use and I can’t find a source to buy replacements. The 4 provided blades will only last one season. In addition, the instructions seem to be written for a previous model. The included carbon bushing replacements are not in the manual at all so I have no idea where they go or how to install them. On the plus side, the machine didn’t jam a single time.

This thing is a beast!!!I thought it would be a chipper like my old Sunjoe, with two smashing gears. But no, this shredds with giant razor blades. It's soo powerful, it's fun!!!

The media could not be loaded. I love it! With the gaurd you have to force everything down with that tool that I cover the opening with. Big time saver. clogged? Unplug from electricity, and then clear clogged. Easy. Don't insert fingers into any openings ever! I shouldn't have to say that.

I wanted to mulch leaves. I ordered this by mistake. It is not designed to work shredding leaves. The opening is designed for small twigs. It works well on that. It was broken, see photo, but I repaired it. See photo. I didn't want to return it and didn't ask to. I can use it to shred limbs up to one inch thick.I contacted Vivosun, and they were very prompt in their reply. I asked for a small discount because the handle was broken. If I understand them correctly, they said they weren't responsible because I had not purchased it directly from them. Subsequently Amazon contacted me and wanted to know what the problem was. I never contacted them but I replied to their request. I explained that I did not want to send it back but I did suggest they should have a way to send photos to them when texting.I’m happy with Amazon and Vivosun. I have several Vivosun products I'm happy with. Other than the broken handle, I blame myself for ordering the wrong item. It turns out I can still use it. So, I'm keeping it.

I am using this to mulch up tree branches that are about as thick as a ping pong ball and as long as 8 feet. It works well but if the limbs have branches coming out to the side you may have to cut them off or break them if they do not easily bend. Sometimes I css as n just twist the branch and it will go through without cutting off the sides
