Lakeland Nylon Potato Masher

My previous potato masher destroyed my expensive pan set as it had a metal handle, so when 'chapping' it on the side of the pan to free the mash, it ended up knocking dents in the metal. This one has a plastic handle so no more dents in my pans. As for the masher itself, it does a great job with ease. Very few bits of mash left in the masher and easy to knock them out agains the edge of the pan. Bit more expensive than the average potato masher, but worth the extra price tag.

Wow! For one who thought that mashed potato would always end up lumpy, this was like a dream come true, my first go with it! Thank you, Lakeland, as always, for the quality of your (slightly more expensive, but worth it) products.

Yes. 5 stars - not less.Having used and binned countless mashers, I was suspicious of the lack of <4 stars, but succumbed because of the price [and "Lakeland", a good sign]. Well, it really is good - sturdy with no 'separation' among its bits; pleasing handle - just a simple, effective design that will withstand my bashings about.

Arrived on time without any hassle. The masher is well made and durable. It is also easy to clean.
