What Would You Do?
This book made me shift into WWYD mode. That is, What Would You Do if you stepped into Eddie and Sunny’s shoes? What would you do if you had no family, no money, no home, and no way to get out of the downward spiral?Eddie and Sunny tried to get work. They begged for money. They went to shelters. But shelters always got too interested in their little boy. Child welfare and all that. They were a family. They needed to stick together. Their love meant everything to them because it was all they had. Some bottom feeder jobs came Eddie’s way, but they rarely paid well or ended well because of his temper. Then he’d drink and Sunny’d drink to quiet the voices in her head. Then they fell into a big mess. A marijuana grow house and as they backed out of that place, they ran into two guys, one of whom was scaring the bejesus out of their little boy. Shots were fired and because of their history, Eddie and Sunny ran to save their lives, to save their family, to stay together.Money. Or the lack thereof. It changes us. Some people become more compassionate. Some more miserly. This book was about people behaving as people are want to do, but the resonance of the story will hang with you long after the last page. What would you do?Maggie Toussaint for Muddy Rose Reviews

A great all American read
Eddie and Sunny was an amazing story of tragedy, triumph and the American way of life. Rural America that is. It is a real story of homelessness, hopelessly laced with a bit of good luck and true love. We can’t wait to see the movie.

This is a story by an unusually talented author.
At last I have found a really talented writer. I've been searching for a good book for months and the best I have found are just O.K.. Stacey Cochran is a truly talented author. The characters are very well developed and his description of the scenes allows the reader to visualize the action as if watching a movie. I am very familiar with Key West and his description of the area is right on. I just finished the book and because I was so impressed I am planning on reading Mr. Cochran's other books. If you've been looking for an author with true story telling ability I recommend you read Eddie and Sunny. I know you'll be impressed.

This dramatic love story was so fun to read
This dramatic love story was so fun to read! I was interested more and more with each page I turned. I loved the crazy story between the couple. With one being pregnant it obviously must be hard living through the streets. Problems occur, there is always lots of suspense. It had me on the edge of my seat the whole time reading. I recommend this book to anyone!

Kindle Scout delivers great novels
(Review by Fiona Cawdron)This was a great read. Puts you in the character's shoes. I enjoyed the characters and the grittiness of the story. They weren't your normal characters, they were more Bonnie and Clyde, and got into some wild situations. The book got me to reflect on the things that are important in life.
