Item is exactly as I expected.

Initially worked perfectly. After about a week of use, the laser went dim to the point where it's not visible enough for use. Tested an alternate power supply with no improvement. Reached out to the company for a replacement, no response.

I used this to center product photography and turned it on for roughly 30 seconds per use. After the fourth successful use, the unit powered on, but the light was barely visible. I tried an alternate power supply, but no luck. Light comes on, just room has to be pitch black to see it.

The laser worked great for about 2 months, nice and bright inside the garage. (Couldn't see the light in direct sunlight but did not/would not expect to.) BIG problem is this only lasted about 2 to 3 months. Set it up to mark where to stop the car and where (hence the cross version) in the garage. Would be on for 3-4 minutes and was not used every day, sometimes 5 to 6 days it would not be on. Too bad, don't want to try another from that company!

This is not meant for continuous use. I had two of them in my garage to let me know where to stop the cars driving in. The garage door opener lamp socket powered them so they're only on when the door opens and for about 5 minutes. One failed after about 6 weeks and the other failed 1 week later. Now there is a faint green glow at the lens when powered on. Don't buy this product.
