Very well designed for short distances
The design of the SavSec9211G line laser, from the cool case on down, is very good. There is a nice quality to the unit (the tripod is a little flimsy, but servicable). It all fits well into the case and set up was literally a single button.Indoors it works fairly well. The crosshairs (and the up and down points) are a nice feature, a big improvement over the unit this replaced. The image above is from about 20' away, pretty visible in normal interior light. The stated 82-foot range may be a bit of an overstatement, but for shorter distance, and certainly for the plumb bob function, it's fine.I tried it outdoors (they don't really say whether it's intended for that). The picture shows it from about 10 feet, which is probably the working limit. I pointed toward a white wall, in shade, 20 feet away and couldn't even see the beam at all.For indoors, for typical use, this is a decent unit. The ability to put it on a camera tripod (and not use the little supplied table top tripod) is a plus. So is the hanging bracket, where you can just pop a nail or screw into a wall and get a straight line seems like a boon to picture hanging.

stabilizes quickly. laser struggles in super bright areas
I use this to level cabinets and mark straight lines in layouts. It works well, but the green laser is not strong enough to overcome bright light/sunlight. I have had to lower the ambient lighting to use it at times and see the entire line clearly. The self leveling works really well and it stabilizes within a few seconds.

Really a 3.5 star
I was excited to get this. I already have a separate point laser but I was hoping I could get a combo one and be able to carry less. Or give my old one to an employee. But sadly this one doesn't cut it. It's a nice unit, comes in a nice case and operates easily enough. But the laser is weeeeaaaak. Using it in about a 12 foot x 12 foot room I could hardly see the line 9 feet away. The point works better but you have to use the little tripod that comes with it for it to work. Not good for balusters on stairs. It's self leveling but it takes forever for it to settle down. Maybe needs to be weighted just a little bit more. It's not terrible. It works good for short distances. I can't give it a 3 star, that's too low. But 4 is too high in my opinion so really a 3.5.

As described
This may well be the best level/laser line I’ve ever tried. I love that it gives me a line and a perpendicular. And it’s pretty much 3D with its adjustability. The pictures and description are not faked. The green line is very visible. I will and recommend being careful about injury by making sure you follow their instructions regarding safe use of a laser, but I give it 5 stars. Price might even be low for what you get.

It's perfect and another happy customer here!
I recently got a cross-line laser from a different brand, which has raised my eyebrow. The laser part looks slightly inclined. I thought it was fine, but I wanted to see another brand, and here I am.I'm happy to get this laser. The laser part is straight up, not inclined! Also, I'm a DIY beginner and usually use small areas. The laser is strong enough to show the lines. Also, it comes with an L mount and a tripod with a box. The box is bigger than expected, but it's understandable, considering it comes with additional stuff. I'm so excited that my DIY project on my wall or ceiling will look perfect!
