Brought this as a birthday present for my 6 year old daughter and I could not give it to her on her birthday, why? It didn't work. I followed the instructions and it wouldn't auto change the time. When I set up the App, it was straight forward, created her profile and it came to a halt, it said offline, try again later. I contacted vodafone to check if there was a problem with payasyougo sim and there wasn't. There was signals, 4 bars but said device was offline. I was gutted as I was setting this up the night before her birthday. It was the biggest gift we got her and the next day we panicked getting her presents to make up for it. She wasn't aware we were getting her this watch and I know she would have been excited having this but what a real shame. We returned the product and got a full refund. This would have been ideal for her, it was a lovely bright pink lightweight watch came in a lovely design box. As we didn't get further into the process, I'm sure it would have easy for her to work it and give her independent.

The watch looks good, and the calling as a phone seems to work well. The app has room for developmentBUT it is useless as the GPS tells me my child is 2 miles away. Which is aweful as they are always out of the proximity sensor, and it goes off all the time.Took the children to Chessington World of Adventures, it said they were at Northampton all day.So I am sure if the GPS worked it would be great, but this was a waist of money (we purchased 2, and they are no good for us)

Great for keeping in touch with my daughter when shes out and not having the bad rep for giving a 7 year old a phone. Its a win win.smaal issue is it occasionally losing some numbers but never the parents number which is fine

I get it and the watch doesn't work .not recognize the new sim card and sending many mails no replay

Update:After 8 six weeks use. Screen no longer works, just black. I have contacted the manufacturer, but no feedback. The site now says will not take returns after one month. I feel ripped off. My review is based on how it operated, GPS was always poor, but now can't even tell the time!bought this a number of months ago for my six year old daughter. She loves the look and feel of the watch. She also likes telling us the weather!The watch allows her to call three numbers, Daddy, Mommy and Granny.The GPS tracker is meant to update depending on settings every 5 or 15 minutes. From experience, this only updated every few hours. So a bread crumb trail was useless. Also, the GPS coordinates at times was out by a couple of miles. This made the safe zone alert useless.In the past week, the contrast on the watch has faded, to a point where we can no longer use the watch...Despite a support page, there is never any feedback.The watch, now does not even switch on. Its a pity, they are 95% there, but cheap components make this watch useless. I will be sending it back...

At first it seemed like a great device and the kids loved them, we thought that they would be a great idea to track them but it turns out they love to be able to call each other an grand parents free on giff gaff , we can even call them when they are paying upstairs or in garden without the usual shouting. however since we purchased the 2 watches over 5 months ago the stored numbers disappear from the watch or the name eg "grandpa" corrupts and is listed as a random number such as "001642" and then the watch cannot be called nor can make calls. obviously for a watch that serves such a purpose this is a massive concern. I have logged this with the watch seller and software vendor but as yet haven't had a fix. the solution to the issue (once the kids realise the watch no longer works is to delete all numbers and re-add through the app an wait (and hope) it the corrects itself. its not acceptable and i will be looking for a more stable product. as yet i cant determine if its caused by the android app updating from play store but cannot see any pattern

Great idea but not as easy as it seems.Instructions poor problems loading up apps if signals on phone and watch aren't strong enough.Stages missed out not detailed enough.Great watch aesthetically. Bought 2 for twins. One pink ( she loved it with pictures) one blue ( said its babyish with the pictures) aged 8Adverts don't show you the pictures on the straps so I thought I was buying plain.Very soft though and comfortable to wear.Can load 6 phone numbers but I still don't know how to put contacts names in!! So just says relative 1, relative 2 etc which will be confusing for kids.Gps not greatTells me my child is several streets away or even in a different county at timesThey love counting their steps and knowing they have their own phoneWe only added 2 contacts mum and dad to save any confusion for them.I know I can call them too again providing the signal is good. Otherwise it goes to answer phone.Improvements needed but not bad for the money !Remember you will be on a pay monthly contract of even £5 per month usage for calls X even if you don't use up your minutes
