I opened the box today and assembled the cleaner quite easily. You need to read the manual and other paraphernalia beforehand, but, it doesn't take long to get to grips with putting it together and how it all works. The cleaner is quite robust, however, it does have a lot of plastic parts and might be prone to shock treatment if manhandled inconsiderately, too much heavy handedness may break important parts, so, it needs to be treated gently with care. The suction power is pretty good as it has a 600w motor, but, on really thick shag pile carpets you may need several sweeps to pick everything up, it all depends on your carpet thicknesses around your house to obtain perfection. Being electric the motor isn't quiet, but, it isn't ridiculously loud either, so, not ear shattering, it is quite light and reaching up to pelmets and ceilings is fairly comfortable with just one hand, but, your shoulders could start to ache if you held it aloft for a long time. The engine does get a little warm with use, not blisteringly hot, but, it is recommended to give it a rest to let it cool down every so often, put the kettle on for 15 minutes and you'll be good to go again. The brush bristles are static, not on a rotary wheel, so, I'll need to keep my eye on how much dirt I suck up with each sweeping motion, don't want to miss any big fluff balls. We don't have any pets, so, it's just general dirt and dust, spiders webs and mud dragged in from the garden, that I'll need to keep on top of, I expect to use the machine every other week to ensure everywhere is tidy, but, to thoroughly clean a two storey house could be a little time consuming, especially when you have to keep stopping if the engine gets too warm, regularly.My only caveats to this vacuum are that to empty the dust holder you have to drag/carry the power cord around with you to the kitchen dustbin, it is in a sealed unit on the handle, so, you can't pull the cord out that way, only by the wall socket and drag the plug across the floor, or, wrap it round your arm/shoulder, not very professional. On storing the cleaner you have to wrap the cord around the body, as you have already pulled the stick out after finishing hoovering, there really isn't much space to wrap 15 feet of electric cord around the handle, and it looks a bit untidy, unfortunately, and you don't get a wall mount to hang it on, either, it needs to be stored somewhere carefully with all the attachments to hand, although these are small items, so, you don't require a massive amount of space.This cleaner could be very useful to folks with caravans and mobile homes, it's small and doesn't take up a lot of room, it does the job it was created for at a very reasonable price and as it's electric there's no fussing and faffing around with battery charging, etc, you can use it anytime anywhere.I'll give it 5 stars for now, will need to assess things like wear and tear given time and to the filter cleaning and other general maintenance that I haven't experienced yet.

I have a small flat and this is a great little hoover at a very reasonable price.Good suction power, lightweight, quite quiet and a washable hepa filter with a spare included.Very well built and easy to clean.

Having gotten a stick vac from a store at £80..I returned it, cause it felt.cheap and nasty. Ordered this cause i only need it for upstairs wooden floors. This was half that price. When I opened it can feel the quality, nice bit of kit. Easy to put together. I don't know how it would be on carpet..was ok on rug. My tips1. It was so strong it was sticking to wooden floor..and hard to push. Didnt realise I needed to bring brush out using foot button for flooring. Soo much easier. And gets into every little corner..without crevice tool. Great !2. Whenever I put it under the bed..or dressing unit..the "foot" lost full contact with the floor..it raised a little at the front...puzzled over this for a while? Thinking this isnt good......Then I figured out..turn the HANDLE on it's side..and that keeps foot fully attached to floor.

Just purchased this thinking it’s a good brand but vacuum just packed up and stopped working even after making sure I followed all instructions and cleaning routine correctly my usage is very minimum as I live in studio flat with just one rug which 120x 180 that I used this vaccum for but it suddenly stopped working just within 6 weeks .

Great vaccum, good quality material and good value for money, not heavy, suction is goid, easy to assemble, size is just right, power is very good.

I need the dirt in the Hoover not still on the floor. Good for wooden floors, but not so great on the rugs which is where it's needed most. Nice easy to use design, but I need suction.

Best hoover I have ever owned,and the cheapest,incredibly light and so powerful,I have owned very expensive hoovers that did not pick up like this one.I received it as a gift,I thought oh,looks flimsy and cheap,how wrong I was.I will never use any other hoover,if anything happens to this,I will definitely buy another.No I am not being paid to say this,I am genuinely impressed with this hoover,its so lightweight and powerful

Bought ti replace my battery dyson, as fed up of waiting for it to change, it is easy to use, put together, great design, fantastic suction power, extendable stick, yes it has a cable but I don't have to wait for charging, I love it would recommend and I would buy another
