this unit came completely set up and worked so amazingly from right out of the box i was blown away. very good and high quallity very quiet and i know that wasnt the selling point it was the name brand thank you so much and will def was more dewalt in my systems

I have used porter cable pancake compressors for years, but when my last one went out I decided to upgrade to this one. It seems marginally quieter.I like the ease of the pressure regulating as you just have to twist the dial to the setting, but wish it had an actual physical gauge on the outlet.This compressor has been tossed around for a couple months now and been left out in the rain plenty. No problems, seems like it will hold up.These type of compressors are good for nail guns and such, not impact guns. They will keep us with a framing gun but will require a little patience on sheeting.

Overall, it's a good compressor that I would purchase again. However, like MOST compressors, it's loud. No quieter than any other compressor. I like the size and weight. Well-built.I bought mine "used" that was in mint condition, so I got great value.

I'm enjoying my new Dewalt compressor, it's great lookin, very light weight and puts out a ton of air, it's loud but I've had louder ones. I'll be using this on the patio, I'm 74 yrs old but I got many air tools, nail guns and staplers and lot's of bike and wheelbarrow tires and I like to use air to blow off my work tables and occasionally the dog needs to wake up and get out the way.
