I transplanted my Phalaenopsis right after it dropped all of its blooms after a pretty heavy crop of inflorescence (and trimmed off the stems while still green). It took a couple of weeks for the mix to dry out enough to start on my watering regimen again, but the orchid didn't seem to mind. After being in the new mix for only a month it's already grown noticeably and has started putting out a new spike, so it must be happy with the mix. The mix drains well and doesn't stay wet for long, so there are no issues with rotting holdfasts. I will likely use this again on the next repotting.

I bought this to report a baby Monstera Swiss Cheese plant. I wanted to give the plant the best start I could. I don't think I will have to report the plant very often so I didn't mind spending a bit on the soil. I was a bit surprised at the size of the bag being so small but that is only attritubuted to my lack of understanding of what 2 quarts would look like, and not reflective on the seller. I appreciate the resealable bag. I'm very excited to use this product and hope my plant is very happy.

Got this for my new philodendrons and the soil feels very light, a good even mix of bark and soil which is very rich looking in color ( a good thing !) enough to fill three and a half 3 inch pots which was the perfect amount. One of them already seems happier than the generic soil it had before, so far great deal!

So I expected this to be a long strand sphagnum moss of premium quality, what I got appears to be a very dry, moss that was compressed, chopped, dried and crammed into the package for delivery. Premium sphagnum moss, I don't think it quite meets that standard...I have used better. The product describes it as a New Zealand sphagnum moss, but nowhere on the label does it say that...and no indication on the label of where it was procurred/harvested/grown. Was looking for a good quality moss for my orchid repot...I will use this, because I really need to tranplant and can't wait to get another package shipped.

Before I got this soil my monstera baby was lookin sad, she was losing leaves and growing one single vine. Since I reported her woth this soil she's been doing fantastic! I have 3 new sprouts in the middle growing every day it seems and a new baby one I caught a peak of this morning barley able to be seen yet, so happy I decided to give this a shot ❤️

This soil is small and mixes well with other soils. Since it is super hard, I will not worry about breakdowns for a while. It is supposed to keep the soil aerating, and manage drainage. The color of this soil changes by moisture content.

I bought a significant amount of this product. I had 3 separate orders delivered within 2 weeks of one another. I was very disappointed with the inconsistency of the mixes. It’s almost as if the first order was missing one of the ingredients. That mix was very coarse and chunky. The next delivery I received was very fine and full of powder. It has caused me some drainage issues even after I rinsed it thoroughly. I suppose the mix will work for the time being… but I will repot next year with a different brand.

I have driven to 3 home improvement stores looking for small bags of mulch that I can handle alone...the big bags of mulch were not intended for older people - even if the store puts the mulch in your trunk, you still have to get them out once you get home without busting the bags and to try to maneuver around with the big bags of mulch in a garden is a headache in itself...these bags are just what I was looking for- small enough to cover my garden and pretty as any store had. I am so pleased!!!!!!!!!
