Powerful and does a nice quick job.
I've never used a cultivator before but after digging my plot for the last 30 years or so I thought perhaps it was time to buy one. No dig gardening is becoming more popular nowadays but you still need to cultivate the top part and this seemed the ideal solution. I also had to purchase an extension lead as I have a lengthy plot. The 10 metre supplied lead isn't anywhere long enough for me but this was to be expected. The machine requires some simple assembly as it actually comes in a square box. First impressions when switching in on was how surprisingly powerful it is for a 1400watt motor. You have to pull back slightly on the handles to stop it racing away. Pulling it backwards, the cultivator's rotating blades dig deeper into the ground causing some ridging and it takes a lot more effort. You end up with a more even surface moving forwards. I have stoney ground and this causes it to bounce and bob around a bit when it hits any stones and also if the ground is compact and dry. One other thing is that it will chop up most weeds although any stringy weeds will wrap around the spinning shaft. It took me 10 to 15 minutes to remove weeds and soil from the moving parts when I had finshed. Overall it does a good job and I can recommend it.

A briliant tool
This product is amazing. Read reviews and went on that due to a bad back. Ok, it came later than expected but worth the wait and every penny. My son would not put it down once he tried it out - so powerful and got the job done so easily.Would i recommend - without hesitation...Thank you Clifford James - second product I have bought and extremely happy with.

It was delivered quickly and assembly was easy. It took me less than 10 minutes
We have bought a new house with a big garden that also contains five raised beds - each 25 ft x 8 ft - I needed to get these ready in time for planting in summer. I started manually and it took me two days of work to weed and break the soil for just one bed. So I decided to bite the bullet and get some mechanical help. It was delivered quickly and assembly was easy. It took me less than 10 minutes.I used this machine on the first bed with weeds (Couch grass, lots of strawberry left by previous owner and creeping buttercup mainly). It took two perpendicular passes to do the job, but it was not very good and I had to clean the blades after evert 10 feet or so. It was mainly couch grass roots tangling the tines. For the remaining beds, I trimmed the weeds with an azada hoe and then used this tiller. It was fantastic. I managed to do all four beds in less than two hours - which also includes breaks and tending to my toddlers questions. The ground need to be dry enough to use for this machine. it also requires some upper body strength to manouvere. However it makes bed preparation a very easy job if you use it correctly.

Most fun I have in ages in the gaarden
When I purchased this tool i thought it will be ok but as I only had about 45m2 of garden to turn over for re-planting I did not want to spend a lot of money so i figured it will do.I thought i would have to go over the soil a few times gently to do the job but thats would be fine.but when i started using it i thought wow what an animal no stopping it i just buzzed through the soil absolutly unberliveble much better that I expected weel worth the money it was so good that I am now looking to do my other lawns and re-lay them too not only does it do the job its also fun.

Worked well for a few minutes!
When this machine worked it was great only problem was it worked for a few minutes! Engine still run though blades did not turn. Had to wait over a week for the order to arrive and it was packaged for return within 30 minutes of delivery. Cannot recommend as I see others have had similar problems.

What a workout!
I've never used a tiller before, so this is my first experience with one. I moved into a house where the front lawn was mostly weed, and wanted to dig it up to seed a new lawn as I figured that was going to be faster than trying to fix what was there. I had been working at it with a shovel and rake for a couple of days, and estimated I had about 20hrs of work left to go to dig the lawn up - the soil was very hard, full of roots from a near by tree and a lot of runners from a weed and brambles under the grass, which made things pretty slow going. I have a bad back, so it was getting to the point I was thinking I had bitten off more than I could chew. So I bought this tiller!I was a bit worried this wouldnt have enough power to deal with digging up the lawn, particularly with the amount of roots, rocks, and runners in the ground under the weeds/lawn. It handled it no problem at all though, I had the remainder of the lawn ripped up in about 3 hours and then went on to till the barren, weed filled garden beds around the lawn. The lawn was nicely shredded so I could fill the bin with mostly grass and weed rather than dirt which was a real challenge digging the lawn up manually - every piece of weed and lawn needed to be shaken out to remove the soil in the roots. It just took a bit of raking through the soil to grab all the bits of weed and grass. The machine was able to dig down fairly well, it ejected rocks pretty well and would bounce up and down on heavier roots until it was able to break through them. It's a pretty brutal workout though, this machine REALLY pulls, so your hands and wrists get pretty tired from gripping the handles for dear life as the machine bounces around and trys to haul you away. I'm over 6' tall and 100kg, my 5' tall, 40kg wife wanted to have a go up to the point she saw me use it and then she refused to try it - it would have been far too much for her to handle. That being said, the physical strain was really only a bit more than doing the work manually, just in a different way - but it was only for a few hours instead of for days.
