I received this as a gift and loved it so much that I bought myself a new one. I made the error of putting it in the dishwasher. It looked battered and bruised after a year of heavy use. I decided that I needed another one. The new one is EVEN BETTER! The lid design has changed and is 100% perfect! I carefully hand wash my favourite dog park coffee mug all the time!

I like these cups, I already have one and wanted to get one as a gift. Unfortunately the one I was sent is not the one I ordered. I saw in another review that someone ordered the blue pug and got the brown pug. It's a great cup, keeps the coffee hot and doesn't spill. The part you open and close to drink is removable for cleaning. I just wish I'd gotten the one that I chose. Beware if you order the blue pug one that you may get brown.
