Excellent Dish Drain
Have used this for about a month now, and am very happy with my purchase. For its size, it holds a lot of dishes, bowls, pots and utensils...with a few cups to boot. For the most part, all the water drains directly into the sink, with the only exception on the low corners of the plastic drain tray. For those who say it doesn't drain, check to make sure that the higher end of the drain tray installed correctly to the underside of the unit (ie. not flat). I improved the tilt on mine a bit by placing the extra drain tray for glasses under one end of the unit. This dish drain is sturdy; and I cannot imagine any of the aluminum bending or breaking except with a very heavy item being place on it. I don't think I would place a 6-quart cast iron dutch oven on this. The price of this was quite reasonable, and the best of this was that it is 100% aluminum, so it will not rust. Would have been nice if the utensil holder was also made out of aluminum, but you can't have everything.

Nice Rack and Tray
I purchased this rack after reading the for/against reviews and I agree with the "fors". It appears that the rack has been redesigned since some of the "against" reviews were written and I have no problem with the rack, except that a little more slope to promote drainage would be helpful. Also, some of the reviewers may not have assembled the unit correctly. It is tempting to take it out of the box and place the rack on top of the drain tray, but this is NOT how it is designed. The main drain tray snaps into the ends of the rack and the utensil holder snaps onto the rack fully over the tray. The lower tray slides into the base of the upper tray (from either side) and is off the counter surface. However, I see little value in the lower tray. It is intended to be removed for use but it then must be butted to the sink to drain. I think it will have very limited use in our house. The unit is good looking and plenty large for us. The rack is stainless steel and the main tray and utensil holder are heavy duty plastic (the bottom tray is less rigid) and appear very durable.

Not perfect, but way better than 1-2 stars
Update 12/18/23: Still working fine. After 4 years, there is some white residue staining along the grooves in the bottom tray that cannot be easily removed. No rust at all on the metal. I wiped the plastic tray down with a plastic/vinyl protectant for the first time, and it helps the water drain off better. Should have done this a year or two ago. Photos with date and description added.Update 1/26/21: Still working fine. Thought I'd add a photo of the rack filled with stuff. This review is written by Adam, who is Rachel's husband, and the chief dishwasher in the family. We bought this item in December 2019, and have used it for 10 months. The attached photos are from October, 2020, taken after cleaning of the drain tray (something I do about every other month). When giving a review, I feel it is sometimes necessary to define your use case. I can understand some of the lower ratings based on my assumption of the use cases. However, for us this dish rack works fairly well.I am a big fan of the automatic dishwasher, especially modern, efficient models. I use it for almost all of our dishes, and as much of the prep/cooking bowls and pans as possible. I think it saves energy and is better on the environment than ME doing the hand washing and rinsing. Therefore, our main use case is for big items that don't fit well in the dishwasher, and pans or other items that are not meant to be put in the dishwasher. Secondarily, I wanted something that was big enough, but not too big (tall), since our sink and dishwasher are in a kitchen island that faces a nice lake view. While I might like to be the person that puts the dish rack away under the sink after using it, the truth is that it just stays in the counter next to the sink. The Polder KTH-615 satisfies those requirements.Pros:• Big enough for large and heavy items, and almost never has a balance problem. If I try to stack 3 half-sheet jelly roll pans close together on one side, then yes, it's unstable. I just don’t do that.• Simple but flexible racks for odd-sized & shaped items.• Just high enough for me, but not too high.• The removable plastic drying tray is really handy when cleaning after a big meal that required a lot of prep bowls and pans. I think it’s easy to take out and put back. It’s not great for glasses, but perfect for large items.• It’s fairly easy to get the main drying tray out of the frame in order to wash it every couple of months. I’ve had racks where the base and metal frame are attached, and that makes it a pain to wash.• Large utensil holder.• No rust after 10 months.Cons:• The drip tray is not tilted enough to enable all of the water to run out. This doesn’t bother me, because I wash mostly big items and let water drip off before putting them in the rack. I occasionally tip the empty rack towards the sink to remove extra water. If you wash a lot of small or medium sized items, this could be a bigger problem for you.• The tray will collect mineral deposits because water doesn’t drain completely. This isn’t as big a problem for me, as we have pretty good water in Seattle, and I don’t have a large number of items in the dish rack.• The openings are rather large in the metal frame on the sides between the utensil holder and the drain side/cupholder. Smaller items will fall through. If you have a lot of small hand wash items, then this could be a problem.• The utensil holder could be a bit taller. This is something I’m willing to trade off, because I wanted a low-profile rack. If your dish rack has a wall behind it, then you may want a taller one.So, there you have it. If this dish rack meets your use-case, then I rate it as a solid 4 stars.

Wonderfully beautiful and unique dish drainer
I love the way it looks. It’s unique looking and easily large enough for a family of 2. I chose to use a large cotton mat I previously purchased on Amazon under the solo rack and store the other two components. It drains perfectly and as I only do a few dishes at a time (at meals), the cotton mat stays dry most of the day. I like that it is rust proof and gives a unique retro (or contemporary- contingent on your Aestheitic) look to my kitchen. It perfectly fit the space I had for it (my concrete countertop had an angled area to drain dishes already designed into it). Highly recommend, although I’ve only owned and used it for a little less than a month. But I love its look every day.

I have had this for YEARS!
Bought this dish drainer shortly after we bought our home. Still looks pretty good. We have hard water so the base has hard water stains on it. It has held very well. I am super happy with the quality and durability of this product.

Review after 5 years of use!
I bought this nearly 5 year ago, and I have not regretted. Big enough for a family of 4 use. Well worth the price. Good design. No rust. Easy to clean.

Exactly what I’ve been looking for
Perfect for me. I wanted a drainer which could take additional pots and pans so the extension rack works well for this. The only not so great but is the glasses end - my glasses are too big for these so not stable but works well for mugs. The plates stand up securely which hasn’t been the case with other racks I’ve bought over the past few years!
