Cooking pasta or noodles should not be a chore, and this pot simplifies the process. This pot comes in a variety of colors that would match most kitchen decors. I chose red because it is attractive color for a pot (see photos). The material is lightweight and has a non-stick interior that facilitates a quick cleaning after use.The top quickly screws on-and-off with a quick quarter turn. The vented top allows you to quickly drain the cooked pasta and noodles without concern about losing some down the sink drain.The pot is also useful for preparing homemade soups when a non-stick pot is desirable. The vented top can be kept on while cooking to decrease cooking time, and this feature reduces the likelihood of an accidental boil over.I’ve discovered that the non-stick interior will require additional cooking time for pasta and noodles. When preparing these, add on a few minutes to the cooking time to get it “just right.”

If you love pasta, then this product is must! It cooks pasta perfectly and so easily. Easy cleanup.

Size capacity is great. Unique shape allows for spaghetti to cook well without breaking it in half. Strainer lid works great and eliminates need for a strainer. Lid locks in place. Love it. Great construction and looks great!

Love this sturdy pot. Use it for almost everything and so easy to clean. Great for soups as well as pasta. Easy straining especially for chicken soup. I still use my iron pots but with arthritic hands, this one is becoming my favorite

Nice pot but wish it was a little wider.So far the non stick works.The only negative is the lid is hard to navigate,but once in place it drains well.Easy clean up.

The last thing I needed was another large pot, but I really like this. The locking lid is really an asset and the strainer in the lid takes care of letting steam out, and keeping the pasta in the pot. The Oval shape makes a pot that holds this volume a little easier to handle (my comparable pot is taller and clumsier) and Bialetti got the pot handles just right for a good grip. This is a winner, and worth the cupboard space.

Really like this pot but the locking system was a problem, it took several days for me to eventually get it to lock in place, very stiff and hard to do...I should have exchanged it but you never know if the replacement would be any better...but I do like the ease of the pot
