I am a dog fan in real life and in my jewelry... from paw prints to generic dog faces, they are represented somewhere in the jewelry I make for myself and the pieces I take to craft shows. So, when I spotted these enamel charms that had actual dog breeds – particularly the Husky – that look like themselves, well, I was all in. On top of that they came in a silver finish. I've wanted to order enamel charms for quite awhile but all I could find were ones with a gold finish, and I rarely use gold, these ones were the perfect choice for me. The charms arrived together in a baggy that was tucked into a plastic box along with a baggy of lobster claw clasps and another one of jumprings. These dog charms really are as nice in person as they are in the product photos. They are sturdy with reasonably defined lines and the enameling looks good. Each doggy has at least two colors with nice little accents such as the pink tongue on the Samoyed and the red collar on the Boston Terrier. The Husky is by far my favorite and I will probably keep those for myself as they are just so cute! More than likely I will mostly make earrings with these charms though I will need to watch the weight of them as the bigger charms are a tad on the heavier side. I also may try making a charm bracelet or two with the entire selection of 9 different dog breeds. I did count all of the charms and I received the full count of 36 pieces, 9 dog breeds with 4 charms each. The included jumprings and lobster claw clasps was a nice addition. Overall I am more than pleased with these enamel charms and I'm glad that I ordered them...

There's a sort of "choose your own adventure" feel to this very compact case of options and wonder. As evident in the description, the charms represent a set of repeated dog breeds, most of which are accurate depictions (maybe not the dachsund). There are teeny tiny rings and some clips, nd the opportunity to string or attach these small charms in a way that pleases you (all one breed? A mix?). This is going to be fun.
