It's thick and warm. I bought a king size and it's long and wide enough to fully cover. Excellent blanket. Worth the money.

these blankets are the best bedding i have had in a long time.I have purchased 5 in a few years. i use in a layer systemalways first is high count cotton sheet then the wool, the a top cover when it is cold out.the sheet protects the wool from undue wear and if you are sensitive to the wool it protects you.these are not scratchy in my opinion. but i love the warmth in our Alaskan winter months with a light quilt on topbut in summer just a sheet and the wool provides good cover without being too hot.I am a fanatic about wool, the blanket is good quality and worth every penny. a true bargain if you compare to any produced and sold in north America.

Bought this for an extra winter blanket on my bed. It does not disappoint. I have a much lighter blanket underneath along with the top bed sheet and that is all I use and it's plenty warm enough. Would buy again. Don't need a clumsy comforter with this blanket and it looks nice on the bed. I bought the kind size for my queen bed, so it hangs nicely down the sides of the bed.

My family moved to an oppresively cold environment and we needed reliable ways to stay warm. This wool blanket is the best blanket, the warmest blanket I have ever encountered. I have some other wool blankets from Ektos and they work well, but it took them about 6 months for the strange smell to dissipate. Other wool blankets are not as immediately warm as this Poyet Motte. I also have the red checked 400GSM Poyet wool blanket and it is my second favorite blanket ever, but this 500gsm is the ultimate. It is not as soft as cashmere, but it is actually very soft and I can even sleep with it against my bare skin. It is VERY cosy!I warmly feel this blanket is worth every penny. Will buy more!

This blanket is very nice. It’s soft but occasionally scratchy depending how the wool fibers touch you.It’s light. It’s warm. But yes it has a smell of wool that is like a wet dog. Despite all that I am keeping it because it is well made and I like the feel. I think the smell will dissipate overtime.It’s 100% wool. I think it’s worth it. I am airing it in the sun to see it that works.The size is perfect for my full size bed. I got the twin xl. The full queen was too big for me. I didn’t want my blanket to go over to the ground d on both sides of the bed.Update: the smell did dissipate after few weeks. I do not regret my purchase.

After searching for years, I cannot be happier with this blanket. It is lightweight, breathable, and keeps me warm. It is a bit itchy, as it is wool, but I put it into a cotton duvet cover and I cannot be happier. I will never go back to a sweaty polyester blanket again!

I love this wool blanket! I ordered the two tine gray because I have a lot of gray in my bedroom. It compliments the rest of the room. I read a lot of the reviews which prompted me to order this blanket. I ordered it in the Kin size ti make sure it would hang enough for a good tuck in on both sides. It was perfect for my extra deep queen size mattress. But, most importantly, it is light weight, almost fluffy. A tiny bit of the wool scratchy but with a flannel sheet in between it was just right for a very good night’s sleep in a cool fall night with no heat on in New England. BRAVO!
