These carpet treads are very nice looking. Much nicer that previous ones I bought on Amazon. I agree that they do not lay flat in the center, but I am hoping they will settle down over time. I don't go into my basement that often, and I would imagine that if it had more traffic they would go flat faster. I have not experienced any movement in the treads as I go up and down the stairs.

These stair treads are not bad. They look good and are comfy to step on. Not sure if they'll actually stay in place, however, since I find that they do move slightly if you go up or down the stairs quickly. The only real complaint I have though is that they were folded in half when they arrived. Even after laying them out flat for a couple of days, the crease is still right in the middle making them slightly tent up. Hopefully they'll eventually settle down over time.

Look great and have held up nicely over the past few months.

These are aweosme. Use to spend a lot on the disposable ones but these have been really nice to just throw in the wash when needed.

I really like the appearance of the runner. I purchased them for safety on the staircase. They came folded in half. The crease will not go away. I've tried washing them, steaming them, icecube method, placing heavy objects on them for days, and rug tape. Nothing worked. They are supposed to be non-slip. They do slide on the steps.

I love the design/pattern of these stair treads, I would love it even more if it was more effective on the nonslip aspect...the bottom is like a rubber nonslip, and to some extent it is slip resistant...but I wouldn't say nonslip...some manual intervention of velcro, or double sided tape applications to the bottom of the treads and the steps would make it more slip resistant and secure...but as is.... it's better than nothing....I would swap these out with the other stair step treads...those are nonslip, more slip resistant, and I'll be replacing the rest of the steps with those...and only use these while the others are being cleaned or in the washer machine....on it's own, it's not bad, and it's workable to be nonslip and slip resistant... again just need to double sided tape, or some velcro on both sides of the steps and these treads...

So I was looking for budget friendly version of putting carpet on my stair with carpeting my entire staircase. This was the perfect choice and I am so happy with the results. I have a narrow staircase and needed stair carpet to change the look of the hallway as well as have a staircase that wasn't cold during the winter as much against my feet. I have always wanted carpet on the step sand now I have it. The carpet stair treads feel nice to the touch with my hands or feet. I haven't slipped going down the stairs while barefoot nor wearing slippers or socks. They stick on the steps really well and haven't moved as yet. Everyone loves how they look now that I have them installed.If you don't want full carpet on the stairs then I would recommend these.

We used these on wood stairs to make them more comfortable and grippy in socks. We found the backing holds the treads in place really well when you step on them but if you bump the tread without stepping on it, it can slide. A small piece of double back carpet tape will prevent them from sliding so they will all stay lined up on the stairs. They are delivered folded in half so we had to back bend them at the crease to get them to lay flat. We also used a couple leftover ones on top of the washer where the laundry basket was starting to scuff it up.
