what's the voltage of the pump? Can it be connected directly to a 12 or 24V system?

The connection voltage is 110 volts AC .I do not recall seeing a transformer for changing voltage to DC.

how much room does it take up under the counter?

The system dimension is 15.9"w x 5.2"d x 15.6"h, my system is underneath a country sink, which has the minimum space underneath of any sink that I am aware of & it fits just fine with a little resourcefulness.

I have no idea but assuming in China.

Can I add a bladder tank? Any issues with doing so? I have a well and would like to have water if the power goes out.

No this system was designed to be tankless, the pump would add too much pressure
