GREAT glasses – but getting everything to work is a challenge!
I already have a pair of iVue glasses (I forget which version), which don’t have a slot for a micro SD card, so you have to connect them to your computer (using a special USB-C cable), in order to see the MP4 files that’re stored there. I was looking for a newer version that used a micro SD card, & these came up, so I decided to try them.PROS:1) Micro SD card slot (docs indicate that the glasses support up to 128gb)2) Great resolution (in 2K mode)CONS:1) Poor documentation & customer service doesn’t answer questions – you need to be prepared to troubleshoot things on your own.2) WIFI is difficult to turn on – you have to turn on the glasses to activate the WIFI, which automatically starts recording as well! Then you may have to press the WIFI button multiple times in order to connect with the smartphone app. Again, you’re making new recordings during this procedure.3) Smartphone app is difficult & unreliable – after you change settings, you need to disconnect & reconnect to make sure that your settings are saved.4) Just like other iVue glasses – they tend to capture video @ a lower level than you’re holding your head. If you want a better frame of reference, then you need to pad the nose guard like I did in order to raise them.RECOMMENDED, but only if you’re willing to troubleshoot things yourself.

PLEASE TROUBLESHOOT!!!!!
The 1st pair had a SD slot issue and I returned them and got a good pair. That wasn't a bad process at really. The thing I must say is this is a reasonable pair of glasses quality wise for the money, but function wise is not too straight forward. I suggest you to trouble shoot it before you do something important with them. I read the little book and thought I was set to go. Nope...after I flew back from my trip and looked at the footage it was a waste. It wasn't recording when you would think it was. So majority of the footage I got was me cutting off the camera when I was thinking I was about to record. Smh...I don't think the book has it correct. It works but the functions can't be correct. I had a bunch of behind the scene footage. So I suggest you figure out how it really works before you film what you intend to film.

Battery Life sucks
I never write reviews but I had to on how bad this product is I bought it and the camera quality is good but it only last 20/30 min per charge and to charge it takes hours. Even in those 20/30 min minutes the battery heats up pretty hot around your ear making you not want to wear it. Idk if I just have a defective product but definitely not worth the price. I bought this around April 2024.

Very good quality video, good battery life
The media could not be loaded. I like the image stabilizing these sunglasses have. For me that’s the most important aspect of video sunglasses because I use them when I ride horses and you don’t want to grt motion sickness when I review the video. At first the sunglasses were not firmly on my face so moving when I trotted but the nose is adjustable, you can pinch it tighter and then the elastic strap can be tightened so they sit securely in place. I’m happy with my purchase.

Glasses work and get videos, but there are some issues
I have bought a few IVUE glasses in the past which are the 4K Vista glasses and all still work very well.I wanted to try this new IVUE Denali glasses and it seems to work so far but I am unhappy with several things. My purchase also came with a 64 GB micro SAN memory card. There is a slot on the Glasses Stem where the Card is inserted. The USB cable connects on the end of one of the Stems.Simple to record with the glasses - just push once on the power button, once powered up, glasses start to record and should see small blue lights flashing on and off. To stop recording, just push and hold down the power button until the glasses start to make some sounds, then the blue lights turn off and glasses are turned off.1. I do get recorded videos on the Denali and have tried both 2k and 1080p video settings. I get average video quality on either setting. Don't see much of a difference between these 2 video settings.-- Usually when doing playback of 1080p or higher quality recordings, if I do a "video screen capture", and try to zoom in, I still see and get good quality detailed images, not fuzzy or blurry. My Ivue 4K Vista works well doing this. I do allot of this with many of my videos and try to zoom in on captured screen shots.-- With the 2K Denali video recordings, 2K or 1080p, doing a "video screen capture" and zooming in, the images become fuzzy and very blurry. I can't see any good details on the zoomed in images. So that is why I say the video Quality of the IVUE 2K Denali is Blah and only average. If you are not worried about doing "screen captures" and zooming in, the videos are fine for average use. My IVUE 4K Vista glasses do a much better job of this method mentioned above.2. Connecting the USB cable from the glasses to my PC laptop, getting the glasses to get a good connection to download the videos can be intermittent at times. Seems the glasses have to be mostly charged up to get more reliable connection, and even then the connection to the PC acts weird. Eventually it connects and I then can download them to my PC.3. I powered up the glasses to start the video recordings and seems to work good and I get the flashing small blue lights on left inside of glasses on the stem. I let it run to see how long it records before the glasses warn me it is shutting down - that time I got was 65-70 minutes. Which is about the same as what my IVUE 4K Vista glasses do.4. Battery - While the glasses are recording, the battery gets very hot and there is a metal emblem on the outside of the glasses stem, if I touch it, it feels very hot. How long the glasses will continue to operate correctly with the battery getting that hot, only time shall tell. Also when charging or connecting to the WIFI IVUE app, the battery also gets hot during operations. My IVUE Vista glasses do not get that hot.5. IVUE app - I use an Android phone and is free to install the App. At first it took many tries to connect the glasses to the WIFI app. I powered on the glasses, turned on the IVUE app, I then press the app connect button, and then press the glasses WIFI button. Not sure of the order sequence between the last 2 steps mentioned. At first it took several attempts to get the IVUE app to connect to the glasses. Last time I tried today, that App seemed to connect first time. It may not do this all the time. Once in the App, everything seemed to function ok. I can even start a recording or do a photo from the IVUE app. Pretty simple to use once I get into the App. Note: when first powering up the glasses to then connect to the IVUE app, the glasses will start to do recording until the glasses get connected to the IVUE app on the android phone. When done with the IVUE app there is an EXIT button to press to disconnect from the camera glasses.6. Record times - there are several different time settings in the App to select. Can't remember all of them, but I have mine set to 30 minutes. Now not sure yet - if I turn on the glasses and do continuous record, if each video file is 30 minutes in time size - if I continue to record over 30 minutes. Or after 30 minutes, does it stop recording?? I assume it does the first way, where I do continuous recording and will stop only when the battery dies.7. Glasses feel comfortable on my head. I do feel the heat of the battery a little bit while wearing the glasses and recording videos. Other than that, no other problems8. I switched the lenses on the glasses to clear instead of having the dark sun lenses. There is a "You Tube" video on how to pop out the lenses and put in new ones.I gave the review 3 stars because of the video quality. I thought it would be better comparing it to my IVUE 4K Vista glasses. I think I need to look for another glasses the provides 4K camera operation for doing my screen capturing.Added Edit: and tried glasses again today with 2K video setting both indoors and outside. These glasses just have no good clarity at all for being at 2K setting. It is almost more like 480 p clarity, at least for my glasses. Finding it very very hard to connect to the WIFI. I wish they would of stuck with the Config text file in memory like the IVUE Vista glasses did. This mobile connection is terrible. I may end up returning these glasses and look for another brand. Not happy with these glasses to do whatI want to get from them. Reduced rating to 2 stars.I hope this helps understand the IVUE 2k Denali glasses. take care.

Very good glasses bad software
The connection to WiFi impossible.I have to change resolutions manually. Great video due to excellent stabilization. Be patient!

I finally got them to work
I finally got these to work, after formatting the SD memory card. The glasses were working fine (although, i just got them last week, we'll see what happens in the coming days), however it was the recorded videos that gave me the problem. I was not able to watch any of them, on two computers, until I downloaded from the MS Store a package of codecs that I'd never heard of before. Another thing that really surprised me is that the Youtube channel they promote in the artwork for "support", does not have one single video 'n it!The quality of the picture is excellent, but you have to be sure when the recording feature is activated, because sometimes, it will activate with the first pressing of the ON button. So, you have to pay attention to the blinking green light,

Received a faulty pair on initial purchase, replacement pair functions much better
Edit: It turns out I received a faulty pair of glasses in my initial order. I received a replacement pair under the 6 month warranty and the issues mentioned below are now fixed, save for the online instructional content still missing. The replacement pair shows better focus, proper connection to the app, and the lens protector is not popping out of the frames. Thanks to the iVue team for making the replacement hassle free!--Prior review for posterity--Every video taken with these glasses outdoors is blown out on even mildly sunny days. There is no ability to adjust any settings on the glasses, as the Denali companion app does not actually connect with the glasses when the instructions are followed. The instructional video playlist provided in the product does not actually contain any videos either. When in the WiFi connectivity mode for connecting to the app, the glasses immediately overheat to a frightening degree. Poor QA evident in the overall design and production, the small protective covering for the actual camera is popping out of its inset, causing distortion in videos.
