These are ferric kind stainless steel, which should be in the description as well as the number such as 304 or 310. Some stainless steel is magnetic or not, these are magnetic. Knowing the number determines compatibility with other metals. Those who need shiny can just shine these up, if you don't know how then look it up because it's easy. I always modify raw materials, had to slightly reduce size for my needs, but they are 3/8" truly and other sellers have 10 mm which is way off 3/8".

These are very poor condition and very magnetic. High quality stainless steel has very little iron content and obviously these are full of iron! Not shiny and loads of scratches! Would do better hole sawing metal on a drill press!

Not as thick as I thought they were. Was going to use them to engrave on.

I got 300 discs. These were magnetic and because they are in a bag they are lightly scuffed but only a couple were deeply scratched. I am using for laser engraver, and these were exactly what I was looking for. If I wanted flawless, I would expect to pay a lot more. These were just what I needed. Thank you.

This is stainless steel, it is nothing like the picture. It is not shiny, it is not high quality. This is, pretty bad stuff. You get 300 really really bad cut outs, with semi sharp edges, no shine. Polishing, wont shine it up. These are as others said, like a punch out of some plate for a wall or something. Overall extremely unhappy with this purchase, I reiterate Buyer Beware on this one. Get one of the other options with the 70 or something, they are what you are likely expecting. If you want, dull, sharp, bad metal disks, this is the way to go. I would give 0 stars but that isn't an option.

I bought these since you can use magnets on stainless steel, however, these were not the case for these discs. As another reviewer had painted out. Unfortunately, I didn't read the reviews before purchasing and that is on me. Other than my this issue, they are well made and strong.

I ordered these disks to place on projects and man I wasted every cent. They are dull, scratched up, and not as pictured at all. Now I have to find some way to get rid of them. WILL NEVER ORDER again.

I needed these for a specific use case, particularly for use with magnets. The alloy is not magnetic. I'm sure the description would have had a clue to it not being so, but I took a gamble since some stainless steels are compatible with magnets. Otherwise, great looking and I can see all the potential uses for this product.
