Works as advertised, very cool.
I ordered four of these shelves for my office and am about to place a fifth order for our bathroom. They are sturdy and I am confident they can hold the full load they advertise. I have an inkjet printer sitting on a 22 inch shelf now and that is absolutely no problem for it. The first one took about an hour to hang - the rest took a half hour each. It's not difficult to hang them - I'd advise scanning the QR code or otherwise finding the video on how to hang it because it compliments the instructions nicely. You'll need some tools to mount it ... A drill and drill bit (I went with a tiny bit smaller drill bit than they advised), a hammer and probably a level and maybe a tape measure. A stud finder might do you some good too - you don't want to drill a hole where there is a stud or the screws won't mount in there right. Visually when you're done there is no mounting equipment shown (which I didn't believe when I read it but I'll be darned - its true) - period - it is completely, totally hidden. There is a nice opening in the corner for wires to be run through. Highly recommend this.

Holds pretty much weight.....
I bought two of these shelves, different sizes, to put in the corner of my small laundry room to store laundry supplies. The description said it would hold quite a bit of weight, which is what I wanted. When I got them it seemed unlikely that the two little strips of wood used to hold the shelf would do that. But it does. Like I said, so far- so good. I have only had them a couple of weeks, but they seem very sturdy. I have two large (170oz) containers of liquid laundry detergent on the lower one (16") plus two smaller bottles of other laundry cleaners. I placed it at a height so I could use it to dispense the detergent. The upper one (12") I use for an iron. They look very nice in the corner and I have gotten compliments on them. The only thing I would recommend is to try and put the screws in a stud, if you can. I could not do that and would feel more confident if I wasn't relying on the screws in drywall (with anchors included). Overall, I am very pleased with the quality and look of these shelves.

Looks great and easy to install
This shelf looks great and was easy to install. The kit includes mounting hardware and simple instructions. You will need to provide a level, tape measure, pencil, screwdriver, hammer and drill w/ bit to complete the installation. I am fairly handy around the house and had the shelf hung in less then 15 minutes. It looks great under my 52" HD LED TV and now holds the cable box and Blu-Ray player. One of the reasons I selected this product is because it was designed, made and packed in North America. The quality of this Canadian produced piece of furniture is second to none. It is solid, heavy and strong.

Very Nice Quality
This is a very nice floating shelf and I highly recommend it. It is designed very well and has clear instructions. It is a vinyl walnut veneer over light colored partical board. I put this in our RV, for a shelf next to our bed for iPod, glasses, phone, and a book. I cut out a small section of it to fit between the rear window valance and closet; cut a corner off with a jig-saw, stained the exposed partical board, and it worked and looks perfect. It slides on one side (rt. side) and rests on the other side (lt.). The corner does not need to be 90 degrees, but if wider, expect a small, unnoticed, space of course. One cannot possibly expect a corner shelf to be anything other than 90 degrees and it is, but this would work for a larger than 90 degree corner. I would buy again and recommend to a friend. It is pricy but I feel it is worth it and came packed very nicely. It comes with 4 screws, 4 plastic expanders (which I did not use), and two pre-drilled pieces of wood that fit in the slots that are perfectly routed into the wall-sides; one side slides in and the other rests on a special piece of hidden wood. The 'split' reviewers speak about is IF the wooden side pieces split from screwing the screws in too tightly. But, I do not think the function would be affected if there was a split. I hope this helps.

Very nice shelf units (sturdy and easy to install for do-it-yourself'ers)
These corner shelf units were easy to install (I used my laser level and bubble level to make sure it was perfect). Once installed these are very sturdy shelves and I feel could hold things like vases with flowers or large candle holders (up to 8lbs). We're using these shelves for our surround sound speakers (in the rear of a room) and they look great. Would recommend purchase to others and will buy more if needed for other purposes.

Great idea, poor implementation
My late father used to say "the guy who patented that should have been fired." What an overpriced piece of junk. First, if you're going to have a QR code in your instructions linking to an installation video, actually have it link to something other than a page error. After going to the Creative Connectors website and finding the video it was a useless sales pitch anyway, showing me how "easy" it is to install but giving no real instructions. The video fails to address the installation questions left open by the worthless instructions. If you followed the instructions as written you'd never be able to get the shelf mounted. The shelf is held up by a thin strip of soft wood that easily bends. I had the strips perfectly level but the shelves were both off level by over 1/8 inch and they weren't fixed on the wall. Apparently the groove cut in the side of the shelf to go over the strip (which is supposed to hold it on the wall) was cut unevenly. I had to use shims and support screws to get it level. Oh, and speaking of screws, here's another clue, include enough screws for all the holes. I ordered two of these and both lacked enough screws. As stated elsewhere, the sizes listed are confusing and the drawing on the Creative Connectors website is somewhat better at showing the dimensions. I got the 22 inch version and it is large enough for a standard size stereo and easily holds a DVD player. Hopefully they will stay on the wall.

Too Much for Drywall
I installed this and put a stereo and speaker on it. It looked great and was fairly easy to install. But I couldn't find a stud, so I mounted it in the drywall. After a few days I noticed that the screws were sliding down and making big grooves in my drywall. I'm going to have to hire someone more skilled than I am to find a stud to mount this to, or to find some way to reinforce it. I also bought a 16" shelf and just put a speaker and DVD player on it, and that was fine. But the larger, 22" shelf was too heavy for drywall, especially with a heavier item on top. These look nice when they work.

Very Nice!
I bought this shelf along with one size larger and a 22" size for my son's nursery. This shelf is large enough to fit a photo book, a piggy bank (average sized) and a small stuffed animal. The color is a deep chocolately brown (what I would describe as "Espresso"). The shelves were just as easy to install as the description claims which surprised me!. Use a level and preferably a second set of hands and you'll be all set! They really do look like they are floating in the corner of the room. My only complaint is that just installing them caused a few knicks and scratches. nothing all that noticeable and if I had installed them with someone else I may have been able to avoid causing them but nonetheless, they are not solid hardwood so be careful! Overall, very pleased!
