This is amazing!! If you struggle with anxiety or depression I highly recommend this!! I’ve tried CBD, valerian root, all sorts of remedies, and I find that those just help me cope with symptoms and don’t actually treat or prevent them. This has made a huge difference in my mood and energy levels! If you do some research you’ll find that GABA naturally occurs in our body but sometimes we don’t produce enough of it, causing depression and anxiety. This really helps me out without having to be on prescriptions - those really mess with me and usually do more harm than good. I’m serious, this worked better than Xanax did for me, although everyone is different. I like how I don’t feel drugged or foggy like I did with other antidepressants or Xanax. I like to pair this with vitamin D, vitamin B 12, and magnesium, as these are essential vitamins to support your brains production of happy hormones! Do your research and consult a doctor of course. I love this and will continue to take it. I noticed a difference within the first day of taking it although it may take longer for others. I really like this natural organic medicine for anxiety. My tummy is a little sensitive to any capsules, so I find these very easy to just open and tap the powder directly into my mouth and within 20 minutes, I'm feeling more relaxed, and way more resilient than stress generally speaking. I have used the serene science source naturals GABA for about a year now and within 20 minutes, I'm feeling more mellow. I also use tryptophan to help me sleep, and they both work better than prescriptions. They also don't have side effects or pharmaceutical chemicals in them. I tried so many different sleep prescriptions, and would start experiencing with drawls especially with Xanax or Ativan, I got really sick of it. With Ativan or Xanax it tells the brain to stop producing a certain chemical and then people become physically dependent on it and start having with drawls every day within a few hours of the time their body is used to receiving it via the prescription. I got so exhausted and stressed out and with drawls were affecting my behavior and my feelings every day. After I gradually tapered down and then off of the prescriptions, are used gather and tryptophan and I have slept about 85% better than I have in a year and a half. This was my first time ordering from Swanson and they delivered it even earlier than I thought and the package was practical. I will definitely be ordering from them again. What I love the most about the natural organics besides no side effects is that with either GABA or tryptophan, is that your body and brain is supposed to naturally produce both of these anyway, so you never have any with drawls or side effects. It's like taking a vitamin that makes you sleepy (tryptophan) or relaxed (GABA). For me the GABA lasts about three or four hours. It just helps me get through work days I otherwise would have suffered through. I really love GABA.

If you are stopping benzos for whatever reason, you may find this a useful tool in your arsenal of supplements to deal with the nasty side affects of not taking benzos : ) One of the most annoying things that I have to deal with is what my doctor calls "myclonic jerks." No, they are not rude life forms from another galaxy but rather a kind of spasm, or mini seizure, that you get as you try to drift off to sleep. In my case they are exceptionally nasty; about two weeks ago I clamped down on my tongue so hard I drew a little blood. One of these about 2 hours before bed puts me more in a mind to sleep than nothing at all, and has very significantly reduced the severity of these incidents. It can't be a placebo effect because you can't think your way out of involuntary muscle spasms. Adding a little SN 5 HTP and 5 mgs. Lithium Orotate makes up my regular PM supplemental stack This is the only brand I have taken (Source Naturals has long been one of my main go to brands) so I can't compare this to other GABAs, but I consider it well worth the money. Not quite as indispensable as SN Mucuna Dopa (which is VERY good) but I would very much prefer not to be without it.

I think these work on a similar principle as antianxiety meds like atavan, in that they increase natural chemical in your body (GABA) that help you feel calm and relaxed. I've used them for a week now and don't have any issues getting up in the morning, i don't feel groggy or medicated at all. The effects are easy enough to fight if you take it and then have to stay up longer than expected. I take 1 about 15 minutes before i go to bed and by the time i hit the pillow i'm ready to sleep. I wake up to pee in the night and can get right back to sleep no problem. I would ask your doctor before taking these if you are taking any antianxiety meds or anti-seizure meds (gabapentin for example) as they affect GABA (gamma-Aminobutyric acid) as well.

Good value for money, just bought a month ago. Seems to really help so far, take one about 30 to 40 min. Before bed. Makes me dream some, but nice dreams, 👌 I have been going to sleep a lot faster, good. We'll buy again

I suffer from anxiety/ panic attacks. I take blood pressure medicine so I asked my doctor if it was ok to take and he said it was OK. This is the only thing that stops my attacks. You don't need to use it long. Just do your own research before taking it.
