Acme Made Skinny Sleeve for MacBook Pro 15-Inch - Matte Black

As per title, I bought this as a temporary solution to fit a M1 Max MBP 16" 2021, which fits in it perfectly. The padding inside is some kind of thin foam sponge, but the outer is splash proof neoprene, so does the job well. I actually have the same Acme Made Skinny Sleeve on my iPad Mini's 4 & 6 which I liked, hence me trying the larger version of it on my new M1 MBP.This case was actually designed for the 2012-2015 15" Retina MBPs, but later models of the 16" 2019-2020 and the latest 2021 M1 16" models fit too (maybe just not the smaller & thinner 2016-2019 15" Touchbar era models in the middle!).While I'll still probably buy a top-sealed double-zipper decently padded slipcase sometime early next year when more manufacturers release them, this one does a respectable job in the meantime, and can fit inside another outer bag (e.g. backpack, suitcase, et al.) very easily, which is nice.

I recently purchased this skinny laptop sleeve for my 15" MacBook Pro as I just wanted some extra protection for it when putting it into my over shoulder bag when attending meetings.Good points: nice and soft and I feel it will protect the MacBook. The elasticated band is strong and holds in place well so prevents it from moving when in the sleeve. Nicely cushioned inside the sleeve and not too thick a sleeve either so it's easy to hold and keep a grip of when carrying around.Bad points: not really a true bad point bug worth mentioning, the top of the sleeve is exposed so if you are intending to carry this without it being in another bag then make sure you aren't caught in a heavy downpour as it will probably get wet. This isnt a problem for me as I do put the sleeve into a satchel bag to carry other items in too so I know the sleeve will keep the laptop protected and mostly dry if I did get caught in the rain.It is on the whole a great sleeve and worth buying if you just want a classy simple sleeve for your laptop.

Having been looking for a good zipless sleeve for my MacBook Pro for a while now, I went for the Acme Skinny Sleeve because of the simplicity of its design, and I am very pleased. The sleeve looks professional, the neoprene outer material is thick enough to avoid wrinkling and provides enough protection for minor bumps (but not drops), and the interior is made of a soft felt-like fabric. My only gripe is that, as the elasticated band is situated to the side, a MacBook Pro will slide forward and protrude from the sleeve, and, while unlikely, there is a risk that if you grab the sleeve upside down, with your computer inside, the MacBook Pro due to its weight may fall out; as such, I do think that the band should have been placed in the middle. Overall, however, it is a good product for the money.

Reliable product. Takes a lot of wear and tear and protects macbook well.

Good value for money. I'm using it with my 15" MacBook Pro 2015. It's perfect, soft, seems to be thick enough to protect it well. Using it nearly everyday, putting my laptop into the sleeve and then carrying it in my backpack.

Amazing quality. My MacBook now feels extremely secure and protected when I’m travelling with it! It’s also very accessible thanks to the sturdy elastic band which comes off with ease (when you want it to). Definitely recommend
