Be Cool with Lasko Cool Colors 20 Box Fan, Royal Blue by Lasko

I liked the color but everything went downhill from there. Problem Number 1. The fan puts out gale force wind. There are insufficient controls to reduce the velocity for use inside a home and still have a reasonable breeze. Problem number 2. The cheaply constructed plastic feet to keep the fan from tipping over were poorly cast and only after carving off the excess plastic was I able to get them to poorly fit the fan body. Problem number 3. When I tried to contact their customer service to get feet that would fit properly, I had to wait about a month before they replied. They blamed the pandemic then sent a snooty reply listing all of the procedures to follow. Frankly, it is not worth sending back!!

It's fine on carpeting..until you turn it on other than the lowest fan speed.When you do, it falls down. In addition, Amazon will not accept returns.The company will, but you have to go to the trouble of sending it back,and you pay the shipping!

Great fan. I love the color. Only reason i keep buying it is because the damn wind keeps blowing out the window. Lol

This fan moves air well. I normally run it on the low setting to move air conditioned air into the bedroom, since I have no wife, being cool is not an issue. ;) On higher settings, the noise level does increase as would be expected, but it is a bit louder than the average box fan; others I have had from this manufacturer have been quieter, but haven't moved the air. The only issue was with the seller. I purchased my first one from another seller, and it didn't work. So I ordered from a different seller, and it arrived with the bottom of the grill, outside of the screws fortunately, broken. There were several pieces in the bottom of the box even. It was shipped FedEx, so, broken things are expected from that shipper. Kept the fan as the damage was mostly cosmetic and it worked. If you want a fan that moves a high volume of air, this is a fan that will serve you well. I just wish I could choose UPS for shipping from the seller.

You can't beat a Lasko fan. Well made from substantial materials and it moves way more air than the $15 box fan I picked up at the local Aldi last year. There's just no comparison. Spend the extra little bit of money on a Lasko instead of trying to go cheap! It's worth it.

Good little fan for the price. They aren't made as sturdy as they used to be but this one is right up there with the other made today quality Wise. Fan blows strong and not noisy at all. My only complaint is the color I received is a very light dull blue nothing like what's depicted in the add here.

Bought this for my 3 year olds room as it seemed pretty child proof. Used it for less than a month and one of the plastic fan blades completely snapped off while bit was running. My son didn’t get hurt but was pretty traumatized by the noise it caused when it snapped off and became entangled in the other blades. I bought this because of its great reviews and decent price. BUYER BEWARE. And on a side note, no replacement or refund was given.

I use 2 box fans 24/7 to circulate air in my house. One stopped working and they were Lasko brand, but very old, like 20 years old and been knocked over I don’t know how many times. I was happy to go back to this brand. Wow this fan is strong! I personally like white noise of fans, but this, like my previous Laskos is not what most people consider quiet. It’s new it’s blue and I’m very happy with the value of my purchase.Note: Also this does not come with a remote control like it asks in review section.
