Q: How long does this keep? Does it go bad?

I have found Cobalt flakes to keep well over a couple of months in the well sealed bucket. What I do is place the flakes in smaller containers so I do not have to open the large bucket. Do not let moisture get into the flakes. That will promote mold. If you have to keep the flakes for a long period of time, I would suggest you place them in a tight sealed container and put them in the freezer. I working on my 4th bucket and have NEVER had any problems.

Yes I do believe they make one for discus fish

Im sure it will work. I used pellet when i use to breed them just because of there size.
