Taboo romance
This is Harper & Owen's story and has lots of drama. Owen was instantly attracted to Harper when he saw her as a nurse at the hospital. It has a taboo element as it is an older man/ younger woman and son’s ex girlfriend romance.I enjoyed the story and liked how the characters were written, plenty of steamy and action.

Interesting story
Harper is seeing Wyatt, but his drinking is out of control. After a bad night, his father, Owen, comforts her, and they begin a relationship. This isn't a bad story, but it's full of cliches, hence the three stars.

Fate Finally Brought Them True Love
The last this Harper expected when she broke up with her boyfriend, was to find herself embarking on a relationship with his father. Owen was smitten with Harper from the moment he laid eyes on her, but finding out she was his son’s girlfriend was a blow to him. However, when Harper broke up with her boyfriend because she had reached her limit, she grabbed her chance to find happiness.Unfortunately, their relationship didn’t run smoothly, as Harper’s ex-boyfriend wasn’t prepared to let her go. They tried holding on to their relationship, but Harper decided to walk away so she could stay safe and maintain her sanity. Even though she made the decision break up with Owen, this didn’t seem to make a difference, as she found herself in hospital. As luck would have it, her accident turned out to be a blessing, as she not only received life changing new, but she finally acknowledged her feelings for him and accepted his affection towards her. This story was a beautiful, sinfully sexy, and angst-filled romance, that had me hooked from the beginning. The storyline was amazing and the chemistry between the characters really sets the pages on fire. Owen and Harper's story.
The first time Owen saw Harper at the hospital, she was taking blood work from a little boy who was going to have surgery. He was attracted to her for her compassion and mild demure presence. He also found her curves very alluring. He had plans to go to Barbados with his son and his girlfriend. He never would have expected it to be Harper and her little girl, Lily. While on vacation, Wyatt got drunk and was abusive to Harper. Owen came to her defense and told Wyatt to knock it off. She broke up with him. She couldn't take his verbal and physical abuse. She went to Owen's room that night for comfort and never realized she would have sex with him that night.Wyatt found out and left her there. He was drinking again. This story is about two people who fall in love but must climb through some unsurmoutable obstacles. Wyatt is out of control and keeps driving drunk and stalks her. He blames everyone but himself. His mother left him as a child, and he can't live with the rejection. So he buries his emotions by drinking. He blames his Dad.Owen loves Harper, and he will do what it takes to win her back.Great love story even with the age difference. Love knows no age limit if it is true love.Loved the story by Sophia T. Summers

It is MORE!
I was pleasantly surprised. This book was more. It had more drama, angst, romance, and steam. It wasn’t just a quick hook up and then forever. We got to see the couple try to make a relationship work even with the odds against them. This was also about some of the supporting characters which added so much to the story.I really enjoyed the journey the author took us in to get to their HEA!

I so want Owen to be real!! He is such a sweetheart.
I loved most of this book. I especially liked Owen. He was so likeable and respectful of just about everybody, even willing to give up Harper if she insisted on ending it. Of course, like any father in this trope, instead of getting therapy for his son for having a terrible mother, he became an enabler of his bad behavior and addictions. But the hospital background was done very well. Not like a few stories with medical background with the newbie nurse "demanding" an apology if a surgeon corrects her in the OR. (Hint: attendings don't apologize to anyone, "feisty" nurse or not, and especially check the weather forecast for hell if an attending surgeon apologizes.)I took a star off for the weird facts like Harper's daughter still in diapers at 4-1/2, using a sippy cup and riding in a baby carrier. Don't know if Ms. Summers has kids over 3 but mine were out of diapers before preschool. Also the blurb at the very beginning of the ad was so wrong. Yes, he did tell her she was pregnant but the blurb said he had no idea he was the father. In point of fact, he was asking her if it was his. Also, I was very annoyed at Ben. As an attending pediatric specialist, he should not be passing along gossip about Owen (especially when it wasn't true). And he was bringing it up repeatedly. Gossip is a fact of life, but he could have tried to verify facts before passing it on to Harper making her doubt Owen's intentions.

Great story! Loved it!♥️🔥♥️🔥♥️🔥🔥♥️🔥♥️🔥
Harper was dating Wyatt. He started out very sweet and attentive, but he began to drink too much and he was unkind and did not like her four year old daughter.Owen was Chief of surgery. He was concerned about his son’s drinking. Wyatt had a dark side, caused by his mother’s abandonment. Owen’s ex-wife was selfish and self centered, a narcissist. She did not have the ability to love anyone, not even her own son.Owen was making a pre-op visit to a little boy and his parents. He was going to perform brain surgery on the little boy. When he entered the room, he was struck dumb by the goddess who was drawing blood from the little boy. He had never seen such a beautiful woman. He wanted to get to know her. However, that was going to turn out to be complicated as he later would find out. This woman was dating his son.
