Glad i bought these as a spur of the moment last minute xmas gift for my 18 month old daughter. It has helped her learn all 10 colours and 10 animals in less than a month and she loves them.

This is amazing for the price (I got it on sale) it's alot bigger than I thought it was going to be. We are trying to teach my toddler colours and also the meaning of in and out and this has been amazing already for his learning. He is made up with it.

Very colourful easy for small hands to manage. Helps colour recognition and numbers.Using the little figures as finger puppets great fun. Bought for my 2yr old granddaughter.

This is a cute and fun train set with soo many opportunities to develop language skills.Each different coloured carriage has a matching animal that can fit on the top. They aren’t the easiest to fit on, as the animals are made of a softer plastic, not hard rigid plastic. and some younger children may get frustrated, and the rim is a bit rough on some making them harder to fit in than others.The other slightly frustrating bit is the hooks to attach each carriage to the next, it didn’t feel like the strongest of plastic, and My grandson found it too fiddly to do without lots of help and support.However, The opportunity for fun language development is huge, with the colours numbers, animals, orders, sequencing and so on.If you’re environmentally conscious, another notable thing is each animal is packed in its own plastic bag inside the carriage, which I felt was unnecessary.

The media could not be loaded.  So my toddler is 2 years 5 months. He loves trains and characters so I thought this would be absolutely loved! But it frustrates him. It’s not easy to clip the carts together, and they come apart easily too. The puppets can only lay down in the cars to put the lids on. The lids only fit one way round and it’s not easy for a toddler to see. The puppets do not sit on top of the lids either like the pictures show, they are too small, you can just about squeeze them on with some stretching and forcing but it’s difficult for and adult to do children can’t do it on their own. So yeah not as impressed as I thought we’d be unfortunately

This train set comes packaged in a cardboard box with images of the toy on the front, meaning that it could be given as a gift.The train set is a great educational toy and children can learn colours, numbers and different animals. The individual items seem sturdy and are made of colourful plastic and seem like they will be durable.Great for developing fine motor skills and to further teach hand eye coordination..

Bought this for my grandson's second b'day. He loved it. He is obsessed with trains and this was just right. His older brother (4) was able to play with it with him.

I bought this to use with my speech and language therapy students. It’s so cute and can be used to target so many things besides just numbers. Each train cart opens up so you can hide the corresponding animal in there or another treasure. It’s a great toy!

Each one of the wagons has a “passenger” inside, also there is the “machinist” so 10 animal puppets in total.The animals are in soft plastic while the train is made of hard high-quality ABS plastic and vinyl with smooth edges, which is non-toxic and lightweight.The wagon connection is easy (perhaps a small kid would need help) and once is done they just use their imagination while playing developing fine motor skills.Additionally, the wagons are made in different bright colours, each one printed with numbers from 1 to 10, a great tool for kids to learn numbersOverall, I found this set to be both fun and educational, great for encouraging curiosity and creativity. My baby pretty much hates having his diaper changed. Desperate to distract him and avoid the diaper change rodeo, I was looking for a novel toy with many pieces to give him over time and hopefully keep his interest. He’s 15 months old and enjoys opening the train car, playing with the finger puppet, closing the train car and sticking the puppet on the stand on the train car lid. I give him one new car every few weeks (when he’s starting to get bored) and make the noises of the animal represented, and talk to him about it while I change him. I only let him hold them on the changing pad and I think he looks forward to getting to play with his special toys at the next diaper change. (I’m teaching him to set them down on the changing pad so “we can play with them next time” at the end of each diaper change before we leave the room)I’m mostly pleased with the quality of the toys (the wheels seem very secure and that was something I was worried about beforehand) and that it’s working to get him to hold still for diaper changes! I’m on car 4 so far they’re all good except for the dinosaur is a bit misshapen around the base (which makes it hard to get it on its stand) which is why I knocked off one star. I think he’ll enjoy playing with this as he gets older and I’ll let him link the cars together and play with them on the floor some day when they’re no longer needed as part of the diaper routine.
